AKISE AND SAKIKO'S HOUSE IN AKISE'S ROOM
AKISE wakes up drench with sweat, if her heart was still thumping it would be racing. She looks over to her alarm clock, it read 10:50 AM, she then feels a familiar warmth near her, looking over she sees SAKIKO sleeping close behind. AKISE would blush but with no blood her face remain colorless, but she calms down immediately anyway and focuses on SAKIKO'S delicate features.
AKISE (whispers) : So beautiful.
While AKISE watches SAKIKO sleep, SAKIKO has her own adventures in her dreams, she was on Ice-cream island. There were rivers of hot fudge and caramel, and the ice-cream never melted, SAKIKO ran around laughing. Then the once blue sky becomes blood red, the ice-cream starts to melt fast. SAKIKO starts to sink in the melting ice-cream, she panics and trudges around for safety, faster and faster she sinks until her head is fully covered. 'It's just a dream! It's just a dream!' SAKIKO screams in her head as she chokes on liquid ice-cream. Her vision slowly fades to black, SAKIKO heard someone call her name softly, she recognizes the voice and she goes towards it. SAKIKO slowly opens her eyes to see AKISE leaning over her, AKISE'S curly blue hair fell over her shoulders, stopping on her breasts. Her hair curves around them as if it's giving them privacy, she looks at SAKIKO calmly but intently. She smiles at AKISE, trying to erase the dream from her memory.
SAKIKO: You did great repairing the house last night.
AKISE (chuckles) : Thanks, you look cute with your hair like that by the way.
SAKIKO quickly sits up making AKISE move out of the way just as fast, SAKIKO tries to fix her bed head but fails. She grumbles again while AKISE laughs and lightly touches SAKIKO'S snowy hair.
AKISE (softly) : Thanks for sleeping with me when I had that nightmare.
SAKIKO (smiles wryly) Your nightmare must've been pretty bad, huh?
AKISE (nods) : One I haven’t had in a long time, what's with the sour face? Did you have a bad dream too?
SAKIKO (enthusiasm) : Nope!
AKISE suspiciously looks at SAKIKO, right at that moment SAKIKO'S stomach grumbles.
AKISE (smiles) : Well it looks like nature is calling, come on let's go make breakfast for you.
When AKISE got up to go to the kitchen, SAKIKO follows after her like a puppy on it's owners heels, AKISE grabs ingredients and utensils. Today's breakfast is chocolate chip waffles, in no time AKISE cooks a stack of fresh waffles for SAKIKO with freshly squeezed orange juice to go with it. Sakiko feasted while AKISE got her book out from her bag, sitting down at their small table she read, sipping on orange juice every once in a while.
SAKIKO (gulps) : So . . . about the kiss last night.
AKISE stops reading immediately, she keeps looking at her book but couldn't help making an embarrassed face. AKISE hides her face with the book, shame floods her.
AKISE: Ya I'm sorry I won't do that again, it was kinda rude of me.
SAKIKO thoughtfully takes another bite of waffle, chewing and swallowing she softly forces AKISE'S book down. Showing AKISE'S worried face, it makes SAKIKO happy knowing she has other feelings besides anger and being snarky, it shows a softer side of AKISE.
SAKIKO (smirks) : It's OK, you don't need to hide like that, cause I like you too.
AKISE'S eyes grow wide with surprise making SAKIKO giggle.
AKISE (whispers): You like me.
SAKIKO: You know I really like you opening up like this every now and then, it really makes me happy. (Takes last bite, chews and swallows) Damn! Those waffles were good!
SAKIKO looks over to AKISE who sat quietly, slowly drinking her orange juice while deep in thought. When SAKIKO got up and took her dish to the sink to wash AKISE looks over at SAKIKO. She watches her intently, 'can we actually be something together?' AKISE thinks. SAKIKO turns back around after she's done and AKISE looks the other way.
SAKIKO (happily) : Wanna do something today?
AKISE (thinks) : Ya, why not? It's our day off.
SAKIKO (stunned) : R-really? You want to do something with me?
AKISE nods her head and gives SAKIKO a confused look. SAKIKO smiles brightly.
SAKIKO (excited) : Yes, this is going to be the best! Normally you don't ever want to do something with me on the weekends!
AKISE scowls at that, but she knew it's true, usually on weekends she relaxes and reads all day.
AKISE: Well let's get dressed and then we'll go out.
SAKIKO: Do you know where you want to take us?
AKISE thinks on that for a moment, then an idea pops up.
AKISE (smiles) : I have an idea.
SAKIKO: Where!?
AKISE: Let's get dress!
AKISE gets up immediately, leaving her cup and book at the table she rushes to her room with SAKIKO chasing after her. They went into their separate rooms and got dressed as fast they could, brushing any hair that needed to be fixed and teeth that needed to be clean. Once they were done they both regrouped back to the living room and had both put on light jackets. AKISE snatches the house keys and locks up, SAKIKO tries to drag AKISE so they could leave already.
SAKIKO: So are you going to tell me where we're going?
AKISE (laughs) : To the arcade!
