Hours had gone by and the last sliver of light had faded from his torch. He was blinded, not knowing which way he was going. He glided his finger along the dirt and rock of the cave but noticed the pain that had come from his finger cutting open. Nevertheless, he would push on. He would push on because the manor needed him. He would push on because the lady of the manor needed him.
Even in the cold, pitch black, tunnels, Edward felt no fear. Despite not knowing the direction, he trusted that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. He trusted that somehow, someway, salvation awaited him.
"Edward..." A soft voice whispered.
"Hello?" Edward said. There was no telling if he was actually hearing someone or if he was hallucinating.
Silence. Edward stopped and tired to focus on whatever he could. It was pointless. There wasn't even a sliver of light to help him see in the tunnels.
"Close your eyes, Edward. We will show you the way."
We?
He did as he was told and slowly let his eyes shut. Almost instantaneously, several hands latched onto him and he felt like he was floating for a moment - like his soul had left his body. A feeling of warmth overcame him and he awoke in a small, dimly lit room.
A woman stood across from him, her hair black and silky and hanging over her breasts. She walked to the middle of the room, revealing a face of pure beauty. If there was an Aphrodite, this woman was it. Edward had a feeling he knew who he was talking to. He felt like he had known her all along.
"Edward," The woman said seductively. "I've been waiting for you for a long time."
She reached for Edward, tugging him closer to her. Aside from a thin piece of underwear, she was completely naked. The woman took his hand and rubbed it across her skin, feeling his finger glide across.
"Who are you?" Edward asked.
The woman turned around and sat on a bed that randomly appeared in the room. She gestured her finger at him to sit next to her and he obeyed. There was no choice to make. Edward was hers, whoever this woman was.
"I'm the Lady of the Manor, Edward." She rested her head against his shoulder. "And I've been waiting for you for so... so very long."
"Me? Why me?"
"Ever since you walked into my home, I knew that you were the one. I knew just how loyal of a man you were, to those that deserved it." She rubbed her fingers into his hair.
Edward looked down at his hands. The frostbite was gone. The dirt, blood, and cuts were gone as well. Where was he?
"Yes," Edward replied. "I have always been loyal to..." He trailed off, noticing the fireplace aside from him.
He looked to the lady. "What is your name, my lady?"
She smiled at him. "What would you like my name to be?"
Edward didn't have to think about it before a name came to his mind. Rebecca.
The lady smiled at him, already knowing what name came into his mind. "Then Rebecca I shall be."
She kissed him directly on the lips and pulled back, her face turning more serious. "Now Edward. I know how long of a day you've had and I know that you're tired. But I need you to do something for your lady."
He looked into her eyes, feeling the temptation to kiss them again. They were addictive.
"Some bad people are on their way to our home and are going to be snooping around. I need you to create a little diversion for me, to keep this room safe."
Edward nodded his head but, at this point, he knew he would agree to anything she said, so long as she kissed him once more.
"Edward, I need you to promise me," Rebecca said.
"I promise," Edward replied.
Rebecca's smile returned. "Good." She put her hands on his face. "You've already done so much for me. I think you need a reward."
Edward felt his heart thump faster as she pulled him on top of her. She ripped off his clothing, as well as hers, and pulled his waist to hers. At this moment, Edward never felt more alive. He would do anything for her. Anything.

Edward awoke in the manor in the entry hall. He looked around, noticing that everything looked more archaic. The walls looked to have been ripped with boards sticking out. The furniture was dusted with rats running around. But most importantly were the four bodies that laid by a wall. There was two males and a female, along with a body that had a terribly disfigured face. In fact, it didn't have a face at all.
There was a note that was strung to the disfigured corpse.
THIS ONE LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL, EDWARD
PLEASE GIVE THE OTHERS THE SAME LOVE
A warm feeling overcame Edwards body and he looked behind him to see four men without faces watching him. They filled him with energy and happiness.
One of them handed a carving knife to Edward and nodded its head as he turned back to the bodies. The Faceless were beautiful and these bodies deserved to look just as beautiful. He started with the woman and wasted no time to delve into the flesh.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The knife dropped to the floor, spraying blood across the wooden boards. He had strung them up against the wall, for everyone to see. They were beautiful. A Faceless walked up behind Edward and placed a hand on his shoulder. They were pleased with him.
"Edward," Rebecca's voice said as she came down the stairs. "They're... they're beautiful."
He looked to his lady, seeing her dressed in a black silky dress. Every step she took was more elegant then the next. Her smile radiated across the room.
"I'm glad you like them, my lady," Edward said, admiring his work.
"Oh Edward, I love them," She said. "I will have my friends here finish cleaning this place up. We don't need the blood to stain the floors, do we?"
"No, my lady. No, we don't."
She smiled at him and kissed him on his cheek. Every touch from her sent a sensation throughout his body. This was what it felt like to be loved, to truly be loved.
"Now, Edward, the bad men will be here very soon. I need you to go back into the tunnels and wait there. Wait there until you hear my call."
"What will your call be, my lady?"
She rubbed his cheek. "You'll know it when you hear it. The bad men will take you away and ask you some questions."
Edward felt dread overcome him. He didn't want to be away from her anymore.
"Don't worry," She said. "You won't be gone for very long. I just need them to focus on you and leave our home alone. We don't need them prowling too far."
"Of course," Edward said.
"Good," Rebecca said. "Now, I have to give you some false memories so that they might not trick you into telling them about our secret."
Rebecca placed her finger on his forehead and he felt a sudden surge of memories flood into his mind. All at once, he remembered Aaron, Robert, Rebecca, and Jordan. Then he remembered Sarah, Isaac, Lillian, Mabel, and Dana. Pain erupted in his own mind. He looked to the wall to see the four faceless bodies strung up to the wall.
Edward screamed and ran for the basement. There was a killer in the house. He needed to escape. They could be anywhere.
He reached the basement and found the tunnels to be open. Every urge in his body told him to go in, as if he didn't have control over his own actions. As he stepped foot into the dark abyss, memories of the forest returned to him. He was knelt beside his brother's body, watching the life drain from his eyes. The Faceless laughed at him as a single tear drop fell on his brother's cheek.
Edward aimlessly walked through the tunnels, feeling the pain of his brother's loss in his mind. He wanted to leave but he couldn't. His mind was no longer his own. Edward would be a husk for the rest of eternity, serving his lady of the manor.
