First, let me introduce myself. My name is Ajith. I am currently doing an Art course at the Sorbonne University in Paris. I have two passions in my life: drawing and cars.
Since I have been little, I love to draw. As a child, I drew plants, landscapes and animals. I would spend hours observing the nature and then reproducing the life around me on a paper. Then, as a teen I started to sketch the faces of people. It even turned out as an obsession. Indeed I could not stop drawing the faces of the people I met in the public transports, on the road, in parks and so on. While I am drawing, I forget everything. Indeed, it takes my mind away from my life. As an artist, I feel a responsibility and a will to perfect my craft because each drawing captures a moment of life. Each sketch can make people think, laugh or even cry.
As I have become an adult, my interest for cars started kicking in. For me, cars are not mere means of transport, it is as if each of them have their own personality. The headlights are like eyes, the roars of the motor are like their voices, the side mirrors are their ears, the wheels similar to feet. The beauty of the cars lays on the way they are designed: the curves, shapes and the choice of colors. After drawing cars of all the brands and possible models, I wanted to go further. I wanted to have the perspective of the person driving from one point to another into these wonders crafted by Human hands.
