What would you do if each time you want to do something you love, you end up doing something you hate ? What would you do if all the choices you make, have not the desired impact you wanted in your life ?
Here is a scenario of a person who was able to reply to these questions with his own life as the answer:
He wanted to become a doctor. He did his best to achieve his ambition. He also came to know that he hated teaching. It can seem strange as he liked to share his knowledge but did not like the format used to teach in schools. He felt like when you become a teacher, you have a responsibility along with burden coming from the education system like grading, ranking, a curriculum to finish and so on. Finally he ended up as a biology teacher.
He loved a person more than he liked himself. His whole heart and mind were filled with her love and thoughts. She left this world in a car accident even before he could disclose his feelings to her.
For the sake of his parents, he accepted to get married with someone that he did not appreciate but with whom he got used to live. He could not live joyfully so he faked his happiness by hiding his sorrow in smiles.
He loved children. However despite all the recent progress in science, he could not have kids. He convinced his wife that they could adopt a child. The adpotion happened but some problems appeared to disrupt his life. His wife did not totally approve the child, thus he was not able to have the happy life he always thought of. His wife was not a bad person. However, she only agreed to the adoption for him and could not accept the kid as her own child for different reasons that she could not explain to him.
He felt like he wasted his life and that he was just putting up with what destiny was giving him. His last words were that: "Life is not like fairy tales or movies. Sometimes, it can feel empty as if nothing special was happening in it."
