Oh my god, I can't believe I overslept. I don't even know how I fell asleep. I hope I'm not late for this party. I mean it's okay if I am a few seconds late. It shouldn't be too much of a problem. I catch myself, nearly falling over all of my junk. God, I really need to clean up around here. But first, I need to focus on the party. I don't have the slightest idea as to what I should wear. Maybe this, no too old lady. Ooo! This might, nah, too tacky. My fingers trace the outline of the dress. The dress doesn't leave much for the imagination, but that's okay. It's the only way I can get his attention. He's still grieving the loss of his wife. But she died two years ago. Just get over it. I can probably use his grieving in my favor. Yes, I know this is taking advantage of him because he's at a low point, but honestly? I'm tired of waiting. I will get to finally be Ida Nichole Williams. It has a nice ring to it. "Bye ma, I'm heading out. Be back later." I kiss her sleeping body laying on the couch. And I'm off.
The sound of the doorbell startles the server. "It appears our first guest has arrived. But remember. After the last guest on the list arrives, we are to do as we were instructed earlier. Everybody understands?" The servers nod in unison. A smile slowly creeps across her face. "Good." They stare at her. "What are you all staring at?" She makes a shooing motion with her hands. "You know your jobs, go, hop to it." They scatter like flies.
