Ruby gets dressed and comes out of her room to me sitting on the couch.
"Okay, what happened? Take me through it step-by-step." She sits down on the couch.
"Well I got home and she wasn't here, I went to check the room and she wasn't there either. Then I got a phone call shortly after and she broke up with me."
"And what did the police say?"
"Even after everything I told them, they said we had to wait twenty-four hours for them to even investigate." I sigh and put my head in my hands.
"Are you kidding me? Our friend has been kidnapped by some sick freak and they sit by and do nothing?"
"Seems like it," I say.
"Then we will come on grab your coat and shoes. We're going somewhere."
"What where?" I question.
"Just come on!" She shouts. I can tell this is going to be a very long night.
