"DAMMIT!" The guy who cut me throws his phone against the wall. It shatters into pieces.
"What is it?"
"That little bitch killed Grace!" If he were a cartoon, he would have steam blowing from his ears. "We have about an hour before her little friends arrive." He says.
"They should have just stayed at home." Vincent shakes his head.
"Please don't hurt them," I say.
"I'm sorry love, but that choice just isn't up to you."
"You'll finally get to have your fun with her boy toy."
"Oh yes, I cannot wait." A big grin appears on Vincent's face. I wish there was a way I could warn them. They're walking straight into a trap. This isn't going to end well, at all. I have to find a way out of here with Ida.
"They need to be tied up better."
"Damion, they're already tied up."
"We're going to be gone for a while, Vincent. Can't have them getting any ideas."
"We'll just be wasting time. And even if they do escape, they won't get far." Damion nods and walks out of the room with Vincent at his side.
"Ida, we have to figure out a way out of here before my friends get here. If they do, I will lose two more people I care about."
"Who are they?" Ida asks.
"I met them on the cruise. They were the other two survivors. Ruby and Xavier."
"Your fiancé? You met him on the cruise?" I nod my head.
"If you can't tell, Vincent, he uh, doesn't really like him."
Ida lets out a laugh, "Well duh. He wants you, but you don't want him, you want Xaiver. So in his mind-"
"If he removes Xavier from the picture, there will be room for him."
"Exactly."
"Ida, tell me something. What was it that they were trying to get out of you?" I adjust the best I can to look at her.
She sighs, "Ruby's address." I give her a confused look.
"That's not Ruby's-"
"Camila, I shouldn't be the one to tell you, she should," Ida says. I just nod my head, wishing she'd tell me, but I know that she's right. I'll have to worry about that later. Right now, I have to figure out how to get out of here and fast.
"Ida, can you get your ropes untied?" I whisper to her. I have a feeling there are ears on the other side of that door. I'm not wanting to take any chances. I watch as Ida struggles to free her right hand. I'm just watching her anxiously, hoping she can do it, but I can tell by her face that all she's managing to do is tighten the grip they have on her wrist. "Hey, never mind. It's no use." Ida stops trying and leans back against the wall. This is going to be one hell of a night. I just hope I can make it out alive.
