I was nearly out of breath , cold air stuck my lungs , branches snapping under my bare feet , nothing but birds singing as they wake up in this early morning. The sun has just peeked out of the horizon , I stopped , they didn't seem to have followed me this far. I sat down and curled myself in my night gown, they came this early I was still in my pyjamas , with nothing but my phone in hand, who could I call ,I have no one and I don't know why those huge man came after me . I am a civil person never crossed the law or anything , well I do maybe have a few parking tickets but I will pay them off when I find a job, but no they weren't police man.
" Where is the merchandise little girl ?" one of the man said to me , he had huge tattooed arms , bald head and wearing all black. The others looked all clones , but this one had big blue eyes which didn't match with his presence at all , at one time I swear they sparkled or maybe I watch too many movies.
Iran away through the back door into the forest behind the house , I lived alone , my father just passed away a few months ago and my mum who was sick couldn't take the pain and passed away herself slowly while leaving me here all alone.
Something snapped behind me , I jumped to my feet once again , old blisters combined with the new ones , it was a disgusting scene to watch but I had no other option since the only shoes I could go with now are leaves which wasn't very convenient. A shadow past quickly before me, too fast for human right ? Another snap , wind was blowing slowly and dancing with the trees and branches , I took a step backwards and to my amazing luck a branch snapped under my foot. I took off running with all my might , which was the one thing keeping me sane at this point, my mind was running hand in hand with me trying to figure out what the hell was going on and why was I chased. I heard footsteps behind me , I panicked so much I didn't see where I was going. Everything around me slowed down dramatically , I was gonna fall in a pit with no visible end , I grabbed a branch just in time.
" Grab hold!" a voice said , while an outstretched hand was finding its way down near my face , I was scared , the branch cracked and I screamed or I think I did.
" Hurry up , do you wanna die ?" the voice demanded , I took the hand and then the branch snapped and fell down the pit.
" I got you push yourself up come on ." I did as the voice told me and I was on my back heaving in about 2 seconds I think.
" What the hell where you thinking ?" there is was again , this voice , I turned my head slowly to see where it was coming from.
One word , Shit.
The voice had a face alright , beautiful hair black as coal , with shining blue eyes , perfect jaw , perfect cheeks , was I drooling ?
" Like wath you see ?" he said while smirking.
" Yeah and you ruined the moment when you opened that mouth of yours." I snapped blushing and wait .... I was in my pyj's , I must have looked like a total freak.
" That's rude , I just saved your ass you know." he snapped back but still smirking.
" Yeah, about that , Thank you." I said , at least he had that.
" Welcome."he smiled.
He smiled , Ok I swear the world stopped moving , girl did I hit my head?
" Well, that's that thanks for saving me , Bye." I said while turning around really slowly , hoping he would stop me.
Of course he did , we are in a dream so everything I am living know is nothing but an illusion , I could take my pj's off and just run in my bra and panties , was I even wearing some ?
Sounded so perverted , thank God he can't read my mind he would take off running and never look back.
" That's that ? You almost died , you look like shit and you just say bye seriously ? What the hell happened to you?" he said and he actually looked concerned.
He was close , too close , he smelled of the woods , which totally combines with the way he looks.
I need to hit my head again.
" Yeah well , I don't know where I am and what the hell happened to me so."I said looking at my dirty feet.
" Are you one of those , I don't know who I am , where is my home and stuff?" he looked amused " Cause that would be awesome." he chuckled.
" Sadly as it may be , no I know who I am and where I am from but I can't go back." I said while looking back the way I came, I could see the chimney smoking from here.
He looked at me and stayed quite for some time , I didn't know what to say and he still got a hold of my hand so I couldn't move much.
" Why?" he said finally
" Why what?" I asked innocently
" Why you can't go back to your house?"
I looked at him for a minute and thought about it.
" Cause there is no home to return to." I said
He slowly released me from his hold and turned his back towards me.
" Come with me I will help you get back to your house." he said softly
" Thank you but there are strange man I don't want to see and don't want to put a stranger in a situation like this."
" I am no stranger now." he turned to face me and smile.
Ugh this is gonna be hard to endure.
