She closed her eyes , resting from the struggle of talking, I could see tears falling on her once beautiful cheek. She used to be so beautiful and radiant but the women I see now is no more than a living corps.
That was the last time I spoke to my mother , her very last words.
" Al..." I heard a sweet voice , one that I recognized , brushing softly my ears.
Probably my mum walking me up , I'm late for school as always.
" Alice." I shivered.
Weird , I'm sure that my mum doesn't make me shiver , that would be totally inappropriate.

I opened my eyes slowly , adjusting to the sudden light that my sleepy eyes are faced with.There was a shadow, I couldn't make out who it was.
" Mum ?" I said but I could barely hear myself
I brushed my eyes trying to figure out who was the shadow, my eyes are not helping at all.
I heard a husky voice chuckle.
Who was that ?
When I was sure I was awake I looked properly.
I saw a very handsome guy, around my age I think, he looked familiar.
"Who are you ?" I asked him.
His eyes studied mine intently, did I mention how beautiful his eyes were ?
No , right ?
"Forgotten about me already ? Pity , living in my house and all."
Then I remembered, my mum, the huge ugly men and well ...... Gaven.
" And here I was thinking who's this nice stranger , too bad the dream ended." I sighed for a dramatic effect.
"He took my chin between his fingers and we locked eyes.
"Are you alright?" he whispered softly.
I nodded, but he didn't look convinced so I added : " Yeah , I'm alright, just had a nightmare."
" Wanna talk about it ? " he said while rubbing his thumb on my chin.
I shock my head lightly and he nodded, he removed his fingers from my chin , I could still feel it burn where he just touched.
" Want some breakfast?"
I nodded and said " Yeah , I'll just have a quick shower first."
He nodded and left the room , closing the door behind him.
I took a moment to compose myself, I slapped my face a few time. Took a deep breath and went to take my shower. When I finished I took the first 2 items from my bag , skinny jeans and a pink-peach fluffy shirt. Not my thing but who cared anyway, I applied a bit mascara and went downstairs.
I found a shirtless Gaven , wearing an apron which said : " Sexiest man alive!!"
I can't argue there. I watched him cook , he has a nice behind , suddenly I really feel like having breakfast.
That's just dirty Alice.
" Like what you see huh ?" he said.
Shit, got caught.
" Yeah , pancakes my favorite."
He chuckled and continued making pancakes , which were really my favorite just saying , how he knew that I don't know.
" Can you grab the fruit from the fridge please?" he said glancing back at me.
" Yeah sure, which one?"
" It's all in the red bowl." he said
" Red bowl in a green house , how peculiar." I winked at him , payback.
He smiled " You're not much one to talk about , pink really ? I thought you were more of a black person , inside out." he said while rubbing his chin.
" Yeah Barbie was a huge influence , she was my childhood crush."
" Ohh really ? Mine was Minnie Mouse."

Nope can't hold it in, I bursted out laughing.
Ohh my God , I couldn't stop.
Of course he was laughing as well, I am sure I never seen such beauty , my brother was handsome but Gaven is on a whole other level. His laugh is one of his many attractive features, but I won't tell him that , his ego will grow more bigger then him.
He threw the kitchen towel at my face.
"Here start eating or you will be late." he said while placing the plates on the table.
" Late for what?" I said will I was nibbling some fruits.
"School." he said while looking at me like I was stupid.
" Ohh." that was all that came out of my mouth.
