The story continues in a dark and desolate landscape within the Land of Spade. The sky is shrouded in ominous clouds, casting an eerie, perpetual twilight over the land. Thousands of creatures, twisted and demonic in appearance, roam aimlessly across the barren ground. Their bodies are grotesque, with misshapen limbs, glowing red eyes, and sharp, jagged teeth. In the distance, a colossal black castle looms over the landscape, its spires reaching toward the heavens, shrouded in a dark aura that seems to draw in the very shadows around it.
Inside the castle, a group of seven figures stand in a circle, each cloaked in darkness. The room is dimly lit by flickering torches, casting long, sinister shadows on the stone walls. One of the figures, his voice a low, gravelly whisper, speaks up, "They’re coming."
The others remain silent, but a sense of anticipation hangs in the air, as if they’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time.
We then cut to the Valiant Blades, who have just arrived in the Land of Spade. The landscape here is vastly different from the dark terrain of the castle—lush, green plains stretch out for miles in every direction, the grass swaying gently in the breeze. The sky is clear, the sun shining brightly overhead, creating a stark contrast to the darkness that lurks deeper within the Land of Spade.
Kaelan Drayke, who prefers to be called Drayke, looks around at the expansive plains, a grin spreading across his face. "It’s been a while since we’ve all been together like this," he says, his voice filled with nostalgia. "Ever since that incident with the Crimson Shade in our universe, it feels like forever."
Windrider chuckles, her laughter light and carefree. "I remember that. Though if I’m being honest, it wasn’t much of a challenge for us, was it?"
Ashford, the silent and stoic member of the group, cracks a rare smile as he listens to the banter. Commander Aiden leads the way, his eyes scanning the horizon as they continue their journey across the plains. Despite the light-hearted conversation, there’s a sense of purpose in their movements, knowing that they are heading into unknown territory.
According to their coordinated path, it should take them roughly a week to reach the location of the energy signal. As they walk, the Valiant Blades continue to share stories and reminisce about their past adventures, unaware of the dark forces that are watching their every move.
Switching to the Kaipo Universe, where the atmosphere is far more intense. On the Tenshin training planet, where young mages are trained in the ways of combat and strategy, Captain Daichi is leading a class in tactical awareness. The young mages hang on his every word, eager to learn from one of the greatest warriors of their universe.
Captain Daichi stands tall before them, his presence commanding respect. His voice is deep and resonant as he addresses the class, delivering a powerful speech.
"To be a warrior of the Kaipo Universe is not just about strength or skill," Daichi begins, his eyes sweeping across the young faces before him. "It’s about honor, about the will to protect those who cannot protect themselves. It’s about standing firm in the face of adversity, knowing that your actions today will shape the future of our universe."
He pauses, letting the weight of his words sink in. "We do not fight for glory or recognition. We fight because it is our duty—our responsibility to ensure that peace is maintained, that the sacrifices of those who came before us were not in vain. Each of you carries that responsibility now. Every decision you make, every move you execute, must be done with purpose and precision. For in battle, there are no second chances."
The young mages listen intently, inspired by Daichi’s words. But as he finishes his speech, Daichi’s sharp instincts pick up on something unusual. His gaze narrows as he focuses on one of the new mages standing at the back of the group. There’s an aura around this young mage that doesn’t sit right with him—something dark, something wrong.
Daichi steps forward, his eyes locked on the young mage. "What’s your name?" he asks, his tone calm but demanding.
The young mage stammers slightly before answering, her voice shaky. "M-my name is Elira."
Daichi bends down slightly to get a closer look at her, his gaze piercing as he scrutinizes her. Elira starts to fidget, her nervousness growing more apparent as Daichi squints at her, as if trying to see through her very soul. Sweat begins to bead on her forehead, and her breathing becomes erratic.
Without warning, Daichi’s hand moves with lightning speed. He activates his ability, Titan’s Grip, and with a single, devastating punch, strikes down the young mage. The force of the blow is so powerful that Elira is thrown to the ground, but to the shock of the other mages, her form begins to shift and change.
Elira’s body twists and contorts as it transforms back into its original form—a slithering, serpent-like demon. Its sleek, oily body glistens with a dark, iridescent sheen, and its elongated head is adorned with razor-sharp fangs. The demon’s eyes burn with an eerie green light as it lays lifeless on the ground, the result of Daichi’s overwhelming power.
The young mages gasp in horror at the sight, and Daichi quickly orders them back to their barracks. "Everyone, return to your quarters—now!"
As the mages scatter, Daichi stares down at the demon’s corpse, his mind racing with questions. What was this creature? How did it infiltrate the ranks of the Kaipo Universe’s training grounds? And, most importantly, what did this mean for the safety of their universe?
Daichi lifts the demon’s lifeless body with one hand, examining it closely. The creature’s form is grotesque, its skin slick and dark, with faint, glowing symbols etched into its flesh—symbols that Daichi doesn’t recognize. He knows that this is beyond his expertise, and that the demon needs to be analyzed by those who specialize in such dark creatures.
Without wasting any more time, Daichi contacts Queen Nia through his nanotech communicator. "Your Majesty, I’ve encountered something… unusual. I’m taking it to Spectra, the research planet, for further analysis. I suggest you meet me there immediately."
With the demon in hand, Daichi sets off for Spectra, his thoughts filled with a sense of urgency. He knows that whatever this creature is, it’s only a small piece of a much larger puzzle—one that could threaten the entire Kaipo Universe if left unchecked.
