The planet lay in ruins, with rubble scattered as far as the eye could see. Smoke and dust filled the air, creating a hazy atmosphere that obscured the remnants of the battlefield. Among the debris, Morrigan lay in a pile of rubble, her vision blurred, and her ears ringing. She struggled to orient herself, pushing herself up as she heard a voice calling her name.
"Morrigan... Morrigan... MORRIGAN!"
She blinked and turned her head to see Tenzin approaching, helping her to her feet. "What happened?" he asked, concern etched on his face.
Morrigan’s eyes darted around, panic flashing across her face. "Did they get away?!"
Tenzin frowned. "Who?"
"The Eclipse Sovereignty!" Morrigan shouted, frustration evident in her voice.
Tenzin's eyes widened. "The Eclipse Sovereignty was here? Why didn’t you signal me?" he demanded, clearly taken aback.
Morrigan gritted her teeth. "Everything escalated so quickly, we didn’t have time. Plus one of them said you were already in a fight"
Suddenly, both of them noticed movement surrounding them. As their senses sharpened, they realized they were encircled by hordes of demons—Tenebrax, Malignis, Vorath, Umbraxis, and countless other dark entities swarmed the area. The sky darkened as more and more poured out of the shadows, their eyes glowing menacingly.
Tenzin’s expression grew serious. "This isn’t good," he muttered, readying himself for battle. Morrigan tried to stand, but her energy was depleted from the recent clash. Tenzin quickly placed his hand on her shoulder, channeling his chi as he used Chi Regeneration. His energy flowed into Morrigan, closing her wounds and restoring some of her strength.
"That should hold you for now," Tenzin said as Morrigan rose to her feet, still unsteady but functional.
As they prepared themselves for the onslaught, a chilling voice echoed through the air. "It’s no use," the voice taunted. "There are approximately 100,000 demons surrounding you."
Tenzin’s eyes darted around, trying to locate the source of the voice. "But when I arrived, there were none present..."
The figure of Neraxis, Lord of the Abyss, emerged from the shadows, a sinister grin on his face. "I’ve been watching, waiting for the perfect moment when you and Morrigan would be together." He smiled wider, a cruel glint in his eyes.
Morrigan shouted at him, "How were you unaffected by the attack?!"
Neraxis shrugged casually. "None of that matters now. What matters is how you plan to get out of this mess." His voice was filled with malice. "I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll leave you to my army."
With that, Neraxis disappeared into the shadows, leaving Tenzin and Morrigan surrounded by a sea of demonic entities.

The scene then shifted to where King Arion lay among the rubble. Despite the cataclysmic explosion, there was no visible damage on him. He sat atop the shattered stones, his expression grim. From the distance, Zephyros ran up to him.
"King Arion, are you alright?" Zephyros asked, worry etched across his face.
King Arion looked distant, his eyes burning with anger. "I don’t know how I let this happen," he muttered to himself. He clenched his fist. "I used Soulbind on Moros and Elowen, but after the big attack, I can’t sense their souls within me anymore."
He gritted his teeth, realization dawning on him. "It must have been that bastard, Darius Kaine." His eyes darkened, and his voice dropped to a menacing whisper. "I swear I will find him... and kill him."

The scene shifted again, this time to a dark valley deep within the Land of Spade. Darius Kaine, Neraxis, Nyxara Tenebris, and Zareth Morghul stood in the shadowy expanse. At their feet lay the bodies of Elder Moros and Captain Elowen, still and silent. Nyxara stepped forward, her hands glowing with a dark light as she carefully placed the souls back inside their bodies.
Zareth nodded in approval, a sly grin on his face. "Impressive work, Nyxara. You’ve saved us a lot of trouble with the higher-ups."
Nyxara’s eyes flickered with satisfaction. "It was a simple maneuver," she said. "While the attacks clashed, I used a series of my eye abilities to ensure our success."
She explained further, recounting the sequence of events. "First, I activated Abyssal Vision, which allowed me to peer into the true nature of things and track where King Arion had hidden Elder Moros and Captain Elowen's souls. Then, I used Paralyzing Stare on him, which is why he couldn’t contribute to the final attack. I approached from behind so he wouldn’t see who did it."
She continued, "Afterward, I used Spectral Sight to retrieve their souls. By accessing the spirit realm, I found their essence and safely pulled them back, placing them in our possession. It was all about precision."
Zareth laughed. "The perfect maneuver, indeed."
Neraxis nodded in agreement, his demonic eyes glowing with approval. "It’s good to have you on our side, Nyxara."
Darius smirked as he watched the interaction. "And now, with our mission complete, we move forward. Victory is ours."
With a shared look of triumph, the members of The Eclipse Sovereignty—Darius Kaine, Neraxis, Nyxara Tenebris, and Zareth Morghul—dissolved into the shadows, disappearing into the darkness victorious.
The chapter ended there, leaving the fate of Elder Moros and Captain Elowen in the hands of their captors and the looming threat of The Eclipse Sovereignty growing ever closer.42Please respect copyright.PENANAFaZ1XIEoFd
