The room fell into stunned silence, the tension so thick it seemed to choke the air. King Arion’s words still echoed in the minds of those present, his chilling laugh reverberating as he cast a glance around the chamber. Morrigan Umbra and Zephyros Vaal grinned toward their king, a clear signal of their loyalty to the path of destruction he had just unveiled.
Captain Daichi, his face red with fury, pointed an accusing finger at King Arion. "That’s blasphemy!" he shouted, his voice shaking with emotion. "Your way will not bring peace. It will only create more chaos and suffering. We can’t even consider it."
Queen Lila quickly stepped in, her voice calm but firm. "Arion, this plan of yours will disturb the balance. It won’t maintain peace—it will destroy it."
Captain Zarius Blacktide, known for his fearsome temper, clenched his fists. "My patience is running thin. If you say one more thing like that, Arion, I swear my temper will erupt, and you won’t like the result."
A low, unsettling chuckle escaped from King Arion’s lips. His smile was cold, and his eyes gleamed with a sinister amusement. "My way is the only way," he replied, his tone dripping with arrogance. He looked across the room, his gaze finally settling on Tenzin.
"And what do you think?" Arion asked.
Tenzin, The Infinite Fist, leaned back in his chair, his expression unreadable. "The darkness of the Eclipse Sovereignty has spread across the Areala Universe. If we don’t act quickly and with force, the damage will be irreparable. The Areala Universe will support your plan, King Arion."
Captain Daichi’s eyes burned with fury as he glared at Tenzin. "You traitor! I knew we couldn’t trust you!" Overcome with anger, Daichi surged forward, charging at Tenzin with his weapon drawn.
"Planetary Guardian Strike!" Daichi shouted, channeling the energy of Spadaria into his weapon. His strike, capable of devastating landscapes and shattering defenses, was aimed straight at Tenzin.
Tenzin remained seated, his expression calm as he raised a single palm. "Quiet Palm," he whispered.
A wave of spiritual energy erupted from his hand, sending Daichi flying backward. Daichi crashed into the Omnistron wall with a deafening thud. The force of the blow sent papers scattering, and the room descended into chaos as everyone rose from their seats.
"THAT’S ENOUGH!" Queen Nia’s voice boomed across the chamber, halting the chaos for a moment. "We are being too hasty. We need to think this through. If we act without a plan, we risk greater losses."
King Arion smirked, cutting her off. "What would Kaipo do?"
The mention of her brother’s name sent a spark of anger through Nia. Arion continued, ignoring her glare. "You knew him best, didn’t you? Kaipo was decisive. He never faltered. He always pushed forward, no matter the cost. He wouldn’t sit here debating while the world fell apart."
Nia’s eyes blazed. "You know nothing about my brother," she snapped. "Your plan will not happen, Arion. Not while I stand in your way."
Arion’s smile widened. "Is that a threat?"
Before Nia could respond, Zephyros Vaal vanished from his seat and reappeared in front of her, his Skybreaker Spear in hand. The weapon crackled with celestial lightning as he swung it toward Nia.
A loud clash rang through the room as Zephyros was suddenly sent flying into the Omnistron wall, the impact shaking the entire chamber. The smoke cleared, revealing King Kael standing with his sword drawn, his face etched with anger.
Kael’s voice was calm but firm. "What do you think you were about to do, Zephyros?" His gaze shifted to Arion. "Are you insane, Arion? I agree that we need to act against the Eclipse Sovereignty, but this is not the way."
For the first time since the meeting began, King Kael’s voice carried the weight of his authority. "I will not allow this madness to proceed. My loyalty lies with Queen Nia and Queen Lila, not with you."
Tenzin, unfazed, stood and walked toward Arion, his eyes locked on Kael. Zephyros, recovering from his collision with the wall, joined them. Morrigan moved to stand by their side, her dark aura pulsing in sync with Arion’s.
"The old ways of rule are finished," Tenzin declared. "A new order must be established, and my alliance is with King Arion."
Kael’s face twisted in disgust. "You’re a coward, Tenzin. You’re no replacement for Queen Elara."
The tension in the room reached a breaking point as Kael's sword began to glow. "So, how are we going to settle this?" he asked, his voice low and dangerous.
Queen Lila, Elder Moros, and Captain Zarius Blacktide moved to stand behind Kael. Queen Nia joined them, along with Captain Daichi, who had recovered from his earlier blow, Captain Alaric, Captain Elowen, and Captain Arcturus.
King Arion stood at the head of his side, with Tenzin, Zephyros, and Morrigan forming a line beside him. His eyes glimmered with dark excitement as he spoke his final word.
