It had been ten days since the critical call that set the events into motion. Now, deep within a secret underground base made entirely of Omnistron, the rulers of the five universes gathered. The air was thick with tension, and everyone present knew that the stakes had never been higher.
The base was vast and cold, its walls gleaming with the indestructible sheen of Omnistron. Hidden from the eyes of any who would seek to disturb the delicate balance of power, this place had been built for moments like this—when the leaders of the universes needed to meet in secrecy, away from prying eyes and ears.
Queen Nia, ever poised and vigilant, was standing at the head of a large virtual board. The glowing screen displayed the key topics for the emergency meeting, but the absence of several key figures was palpable. Captain Alaric Voss, Captain Elowen Virellis, Captain Arcturus Valen, and Captain Daichi stood behind her, a formidable group of loyal captains who had seen more battles than most could imagine.
Queen Lila stood off to the side, nervously fidgeting with the hem of her robe. Beside her was Elder Moros, his aged face impassive but his eyes sharp, scanning the room for any signs of weakness. Captain Zarius Blacktide, the leader of the Seventh Vanguard, stood like a statue, his gaze fixed ahead, as if ready for battle at any moment.
King Kael, however, was notably alone. His brow was furrowed, concern etched into his features as he glanced at the empty seat reserved for Commander Aiden, who had not arrived three days prior as expected. His absence weighed heavily on the room, but Kael remained silent, waiting for the meeting to begin.
King Arion Azraelis had yet to arrive, but two of his most trusted allies, Morrigan Umbra and Zephyros Vaal, were present. Morrigan’s dark aura exuded mystery, her presence like a shadow creeping across the room. Zephyros, with his sharp gaze and silent demeanor, stood by her side, his arms crossed as they both surveyed the gathering.
The room was filled with murmurs as the rulers and their most trusted personnel mingled. Even in a moment of dire circumstance, alliances and power plays were at the forefront of their minds.
“I’ve heard the Land of Spade is a breeding ground for demonic activity now,” Captain Alaric Voss said quietly to Captain Elowen. “We should be prepared for anything.”
“Agreed,” Elowen replied. “The Eclipse Sovereignty won’t be easy to root out, especially if they’re working from the shadows.”
Queen Lila, overhearing their conversation, looked uneasy. “What if they’re already here? What if they’re planning something even worse?”
Zarius Blacktide stepped forward, his voice a low rumble. “If they are, we’ll handle it. No matter what it takes.”
As the conversation shifted to strategy, the heavy door to the chamber closed as this discussion surely will change the fate of all 5 Universes.
The Sacred Planet – Kaipo Universe
On the Sacred Planet within the Kaipo Universe, a place that held no population and was shrouded in secrecy, the silence of the night was broken by the soft whisper of wind and the drifting of dust. This planet, invisible and undetectable by even the most advanced sensory magic, was home to the remains of the High Mages from the Second Jewel War—Levi, Zara, Drew, Lyn, and Mike.
It was a place of reverence, its surface rich with Omnistron. Here, the legacy of the past lay dormant, protected by ancient magic and the vaults that housed their sacred relics.
Inside one of the most revered vaults, a massive stone door adorned with symbols from Kaipo’s history loomed large. The echoes of footsteps resonated as a dark figure approached, their presence unsettling in the stillness of the sacred grounds. This figure, cloaked in darkness, moved with purpose, their eyes fixed on the giant lock that guarded the tomb of the High Mages.
The figure paused before the massive lock, their hand glowing with dark energy as they placed it on the stone. Ancient symbols flared to life, glowing in dark pink hues, pulsing with power. Slowly, the massive lock disintegrated into dust, vanishing into the air like it had never been there.
The vault door creaked open, revealing the sacred room beyond. It was a chamber of immense reverence. The remains of the High Mages rested peacefully, their tombs bathed in an ethereal glow. Levi’s Blade of Eternity, Zara’s flame-forged robes, and Drew’s celestial cape were displayed alongside their bodies, each a testament to their former power.
But it wasn’t the relics or the mages’ bodies that the figure was interested in. At the center of the room, encased in a pulsating glass cube, sat an ancient, worn piece of parchment. It exuded an energy that seemed to hum with the very essence of manifestation.
The figure approached the glass, a look of fascination crossing their face. They reached out to touch it, but the moment their hand made contact, a violent pulse of energy lashed out, forcing them back. The figure chuckled to themselves. “Aetherstron…”
They took a step back, their body glowing with a dark blue light. Without hesitation, they walked through the Aetherstron barrier as if it were air, their form slipping effortlessly inside the cube.
The figure stood before the ancient parchment, a sinister smile creeping across their face. “Perfect…” they whispered.
The parchment, weathered by time but pulsating with untapped power, was what they had come for.
And now, it was within their grasp.
The chapter ends with the figure standing triumphantly before the ancient secrets of the High Mages and Kaipo.73Please respect copyright.PENANAOeNXQIvMYt
