The sleek, futuristic design of the buildings reflected the cutting-edge work that took place here, and towering above them all was the main lab, The Nexus Chamber—a hub of scientific discovery and innovation.
As Captain Daichi approached the entrance, Captain Solari Lyra, the Head Mage of the Science Division, was already waiting for him. Her eyes gleamed with curiosity as she saw Daichi carrying the demon’s lifeless body. "Captain Daichi," she greeted, her voice sharp and focused, "I assume this is the ‘unusual creature’ you mentioned?"
"Yes," Daichi replied, his tone grim. "It appeared during training on Tenshin, disguised as a young mage."
Without another word, Solari gestured for him to follow her into the lab. They entered The Nexus Chamber, where sleek holographic displays and advanced machinery hummed with life. Solari led Daichi to one of the large testing chambers, a room encased in transparent, reinforced glass. As they laid the demon on the examination table, Solari activated her Technological Mastery. Her deep connection with the machines around her became evident as the lab came alive under her control.
"I’ll begin the analysis," Solari said, her eyes narrowing as she focused on the demon’s form. She activated her Quantum Analysis—an ability that allowed her to break down the demon’s molecular structure and energy signature with precision. As the scans continued, Queen Nia arrived, accompanied by Captain Arcturus Valen, the Head of the Strategy Division. Both of them entered the lab just as the screens around the testing chamber began displaying information about the demon.

Its head is elongated, with razor-sharp fangs and eyes that burn with an eerie green light. Vorath's body is covered in barbed scales, and it moves with a hypnotic, undulating motion, leaving a trail of corrosive slime in its wake.
Abilities:
- Venomous Bite: Vorath’s fangs are filled with a potent venom that can paralyze its victims within seconds. The venom not only immobilizes its prey but also slowly corrupts their life force, making it easier for Vorath to feed.
- Corrosive Slime: As Vorath slithers across the ground, it secretes a toxic slime that eats through anything it touches, including armor and flesh. This slime can be used to create barriers, traps, or to weaken the defenses of its enemies.
- Hypnotic Gaze: Vorath can lock eyes with its prey, inducing a trance-like state that leaves them vulnerable to its attacks. This ability allows Vorath to lure victims closer, ensnaring them in its coils before they even realize the danger.

As it tightens its grip, the barbs on its scales dig into the flesh, causing excruciating pain and draining the life force from its victims. This ability is particularly effective against single targets, allowing Vorath to isolate and eliminate key opponents.
As the information appeared on the screen, the group exchanged concerned glances. The discovery of the Vorath Demon was unsettling, to say the least.
"Fascinating!" Captain Solari exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement. "This is a completely new species—its structure, its abilities… absolutely remarkable!" She quickly summoned one of her Science Mages. "Start the dissection immediately. We need to know everything about this creature’s anatomy."
Queen Nia, though concerned, was focused on the larger question. "Where could a creature like this have come from?" she asked, her eyes locked on the screen. "We’ve never seen anything like this before."
Captain Daichi folded his arms, still grim from the encounter. "It was able to mimic the appearance of a human. That’s not listed among its abilities, which makes me think it could be a passive ability or something beyond our understanding."
Captain Arcturus Valen, always analytical, leaned closer to the screen. "I’m more interested in the fact that it’s labeled as a type—‘Vorath Demon.’ If there’s a category, that means there could be more types out there."
