It pains me to see the man the way he is when I enter the cabin. I have to turn away before I start crying.
"S-Sa-Sarah?" He says each word individually through winded breaths.
"Hey Benjamin, just try and stay still. I'm going to get you out of here."
"You go," his breathing is ragged, "I'll just be dead weight." I shake my head.
"I'm not leaving you, I already risked a lot to come in here and save you. So get off your butt and let's go." He looks at me with angry eyes, but still stands to his feet. I wrap his arm around my neck and walk to the door slowly with him. The door swings open to reveal a man pointing a gun at me and Benjamin.
"Well well. If it isn't our little escapee." My eyes are wide. My feet are bolted to the floor. The room feels like it's spinning. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you yet. The boss wants you in one piece for now." He smiles a toothy grin. "You two are coming with me."
