The open field and traveling skies greet the high-spirited pair of siblings as they mosey over to the castle courtyard.
"Ah, here we are," Lorencio sighs as a growing smile of his greets the peaceful scene in front of him.
"And where is this?" Jocosa mutters as the playful winds rush over to brush her hair.
"The castle courtyard sister, we would journey over here to play around or catch a break from the suffocating air of aristocrats." He chuckles as he turns to meet her intrigued gaze.
"Thank you for taking me with you, again I hope I'm not bothering you," she mumbles with an unsure smile.
He swats his hands around at her presumptuous statement before placing his palm upon her blonde strands. "Enough of such belittling words, let us enjoy ourselves, hm?"
Jocosa's cheeks rise at his affirmations and her head slowly rises to meet his kind gaze. "Let us."
The nimble clouds float by as the two take their time frolicking around in the lime-colored field. The insects dancing around them, their excitable energy extending to the nature around them. The carefree smiles Jocosa flashes around at Lorencio warm his heart as an older sibling. Seeing her back in their home gives him comfort after the long journey of tracking her down. Classic childhood games to liven up their day.
"I wonder where you ever could be," Lorencio ponders out loud as Jocosa giggles in her hiding place.
Suddenly a hand taps the girl's shoulder, she's been found.
"You were never good at this game were you?" Lorencio sasses at the startled girl.
"El, no fair, you cheated," she pouts as she stands from her hiding spot.
"You just called me..." Lorencio's lips twitch as his emotions rise.
"That's your nickname, is it not?" Jocosa looks up with an unsure smile, "I suddenly remembered a figure that reminded me of you and another girl with me. In a place just like this, El is what I called you, right?"
His dimples shine as he embraces her suddenly, "Yes, you gave me that name, and that girl was your best friend." He quickly pulls back to reassure his little sister, "No matter how much you can nor cannot gain from your memories, I will be here for you."
