It is the final meal of the day for the three royals in the dining room.
Usually, they would be chatting about their day and work with other kingdoms and how the villages are managing. But these past few days have broken their happy cycle.
With the royal daughter missing, it is like a piece of their lives has been snatched away from them.
Royal King and Queen are no longer able to pester their daughter with their worries about how her and Prince Robert's relationship is faring along.
For the royal son, Lorencio, his only sibling, the one with who he shares his many secrets is now gone.
Here one day gone the very next.
Lorencio and her chatted the night before she was whisked away by some unknown force. He told her that his and Shelton's walls were finally coming down between one another. She was happy for them, she loved seeing the joyous look on her brother's face when he thought they might be able to love one another. So that their arranged marriage won't go to waste.
But now those walls went right back up, always either working or wallowing in the loss of his sister in the walls of his bedroom.
As for the current moment, silverware scraping plates and chewing fill the room.
"So, where's your fiancé son?" Royal Queen, Cateline, asks her son whilst sipping dark maroon-colored wine.
"Haven't caught a glimpse of her since this morning," Lorencio replies to his blonde mother placing his fork down and making a clanking sound on his plate.
Silence fills the vast room again before the dining doors suddenly burst open and in comes a certain redhead.
"King Alloys, Queen Cateline, Lorencio," she begins taking a seat at the large table, "I'm so sorry, for arriving late. I had some business to attend to."
Queen Cateline internally rolls her eyes but keeps a tight, fake smile accepting her apology, "Dear it's alright, as long as you're here now."
The King agrees along with his wife, "Yes dear you're here now. Start eating before it becomes too cold for you." Shelton sends him a small smile before starting to deliver food to her mouth.
Lorencio bites his lip, he doesn't like the fact that none of them care to bring up his missing sister. He feels as if they are too scared to bring the matter up. Well, he isn't and he wants her back.
Lorencio practically throws his hands on the table, "Are we not going to do anything!? Your daughter is missing, my sister, and we've just been doing nothing and sitting here! I won't have it! We need to act fast and find her before something happens to her!"
