"As you wish, you may enter," Lorencio releases yet another sigh allowing Reginald into his office.
The lean man fumbles with the knob before twisting it revealing his anxious state. The prince's eyes sharpen at the uneasy sight.
"Thank you my lord for accepting me," Reginald bows lowly.
"No need what is the news you wish to share?" Lorencio wishes the man would skip the pleasantries so his book could be continued. But the nature of the situation reveals that the book will remain shut for the evening.
"How I wish that I approached you sooner, perhaps most of my mistakes would be erased. Alas, I am nothing but a coward," his teeth rattle as the truth begins to travel upward as if it were bile. "Princess Shelton is behind the young princess's disappearance. Having myself and her knight carry out her malicious plans. I am filled with regret, as her threats and temper have kept me away from spilling my truth."
Lorencio's eyes gloss over with tears as the words torture his heart.
