Symbol: 🦇
Crưxal resident. Its home is a twisted black birdcage hanging by a black chain from a ledge overlooking a ravine filled with massive skeletons.
Typically appears as a small wrinkly dark pink/grey gargoyle-like creature with a cat face structure, bat ears and bat wings, tiny black horns, a devil tail, bony claws and talons, and large sharp teeth that jut out from both jaws. Has tattered wings and scars. Appears thin in a way that resembles starvation. Has no hair or breasts, but six nipples. Its ears have many piercings. Has a little dangly esca like an anglerfish.
Grim’s role is to hold our masochistic tendencies and desire for unhealthy relationships. It holds the fawning stress response from all our past abusive relationships and trauma. It’s usually a desperate wreck, simultaneously terrified of being hurt and desperate to be hurt more. Above all else, it’s terrified of losing people, and believes its only value is in being a punching bag. Grim is quiet, shy, meek, and slinky in front. It tiptoes and sneaks around. If the situation is right, Grim will beg people not to leave, and offer to be hurt when people are angry at us, or threaten to hurt itself if people try to leave us. Grim is highly masochistic and desires to be tortured as an act of love. It sees itself as a toy for someone else to torment as they see fit, and craves being used, sexually and otherwise. Grim places little value on relationships within the system, and constantly tries to convince others that we belong as someone else’s possession. It places a desperate and frantic amount of value on relationships with other people, and is entirely willing to destroy itself for other people. It believes we should become whatever is necessary to get people to love us. All it wants is to be someone’s most beloved toy. It wants the rest of us to believe that we belong as someone else’s toy. Grim’s self-appointed life purpose is to find someone to break them into submission.
