Two people were in front of me, one woman and a man. We were in a bus. They seemed to be a couple. They were looking weak as if there was no soul in their bodies. It was difficult to see them clearly because there was a kind of blurry layer covering my vision. I could not move, I could only see. The couple was sitting next to each other. More than tiredness, I could feel sadness. They were deep in their thoughts, staring at nothing. The woman was having tears streaming down her cheeks but she was unconscious of that, as her face expression stayed still. I was sure that I had never seen both of them in my life but for a certain reason, I could read through every quiver on their faces. The man suddenly came back to reality. He saw the woman crying silently. He slowly took her face with his hand and carried it to his shoulder. He wiped her tears but like an endless waterfall, small tears carried on sliding on her cheeks. The man had wet eyes. He was not crying but one could hint that he was on the brink of bursting. He looked at her, their eyes met. They seemed to have gone through lots of hardships. The man left a kiss on her forehead, a reassuring one. She came back to her senses, coming out of her stream of thoughts. Suddenly, the bus stopped. The two of them were in panic. They were looking around at an unknown danger, holding hands. Then, somebody entered the bus. Their fear of the unknown was quickly turning into a known terror as their tired eyes were seeking hopeless help and nervous movements were getting the upper hand over their bodies.
