I think my English is improving too slowly, so I am trying to just think in English. And then I found it very difficult because my vocabulary isn't enough. My mind just has the general idea, the language in my mind can't express it very well which made me think very slowly. And I need to keep control of my mind continuously, or the Chinese will show up. But at least I can control it, I just need to keep practicing.
English course starting to read Candide, I felt that I've seen it before when I read the plot about Cunegund throwing her glove to Candide and then they kiss, and then I thought maybe not when I read Cunegund die(that I remember was the Candide and Cunegonde be together in the end), and then now I think maybe I really have read it before because Cunegund doesn't die actually. But I don't think the story that I read is the same version as Candide now I'm reading. I don't remember the plot was as dark as this one. I read it when I was a kid, so I think the version I read had been beautified, after all, it was for children.
I will read the Chinese version before I read Candide with class so that I can understand what it means.
My baking classmate Lydia suggested that I first need to know how to spell the vocabulary but no need to know what it means. I know, just like I learned Chinese, I know how to spell it in pronunciation if I heard it though I may not understand what it means. I know, but it's very difficult for me in English! I hope I can, but sometimes I even can not compare a and e. It's a good way, I will try it, but I don't think I can do it very well.
Tonight's church game was Thanksgiving number guess(I'm bullshitting, I don’t know the game’s real name). They gave us a number, then three options.
