I woke up the next morning and found Lilly on top of me. I laughed and so did she. She got off me and ran around the room.
“Lilly freeze,” I told Lilly and she froze. “Good. Now tell me why are you so excited?” I asked Lilly.
“Charles is taking you and me to the beach!” Lilly screamed.
I sighed and got out of bed. Charles walked in and smiled at me. I smiled back and walked to my closet. I found a black bikini and put it on. I walked out of the closet and Charles whistled. I laughed and walked toward my dresser. I opened all of the drawers and found a pair of sunglasses. I put them on top of my head and walked to the bathroom and got a towel out of the closet.
“You know you don’t need sunglasses right Polly?” asked Charles.
“Well if we are going to a beach shouldn’t I dress like it?” I asked him and he laughed. I shrug my shoulders and Lilly walked into the room wearing a matching bathing suit to mine. I laughed and so did she.
“Aren’t you too young to wear that?” I asked Lilly and she laughed.
“Polly I was turned into a full vampire 100 years ago. So ya I can since I’m older than you,” said Lilly. I shrugged my shoulders and took Charles’s hand. We went outside and got into a car. It took us twenty-thirty minutes to get to the beach. The minute we unlocked the doors, Lilly ran out of the car and into the water. I laughed and so did Charles. We climbed out of the car and he took my hand. We walked to a certain part of the beach and laid out our towels.
“What do you want to do first Polly? Since it’s night time you can’t really tan,” said Charles.
He looked at me and smiled. I stood up and walked toward the water. He followed me. I looked across the water and smiled. I reached down and splashed Charles with water. It caught him by surprise, so I laughed. Before I could run, Charles picked me up bridal style and threw me into the water. I came up from underwater soaking wet. He laughed and I decided to get back at him. I walked out of the water and toward our towels.
“Come on Polly, it was just a joke!” Charles laughed and so did Lilly.
When he turned around I ran at him and jumped on his back. He fell down but I knew that he fell down just to make me happy. He flipped us over to make him on top of me. He kissed me and then got up. I looked over at Lilly and she was making a sand castle. I walked over to her and she looked up at me smiling.
“Can I help you?” I asked her, and she nodded her head. I gathered up a bunch of sand for me to use. Then I started to help her build it.

I saw Polly helping Lilly. I smiled and knew that she was the perfect mate. I heard her and Lilly laughing and I started to walk toward them but then Lilly glared at me. I held up my hands to let her know that I surrendered. I saw Polly turn around and look at me. She smiled and turned back around to help Lilly. All of a sudden I heard them burst out laughing.
“Hey! What’s so funny?” I yelled. They ignored me and laughed harder. I laughed a little bit and walked toward our towels. I sat down and watched Polly and Lilly.

“Well, every sand castle needs a princess,” I told Lilly. I tapped her nose and giggled. I watched her add a flag on top of the sand castle. She stood up and walked over to me. She hugged me and I hugged her back. I saw Charles walking toward us. When he reached us he looked at our sand castle.
“Very nice... but-” I cut off Charles and glared at him. He understood what I meant and he laughed. Lilly stood up and ran to Charles. They hugged each other and laughed. Charles is the one for me. I belong to him, not as a slave but as a match. Charles walked over to me and picked me up.
“We must get going. The sun will be up soon.” Charles said. He picked me up bridal style and I saw Lilly in the car already so I decided to relax in his arms and rested my head against Charles’s chest.
“I love you,” I whispered to Charles.
“I love you too,” Charles told me.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
