As I was walking to my secret place, Polly was fast asleep in my arms. I kissed her forehead.
“Sir, will we compel her?”
“Stan we will simply make her think she has loved me all along and that Charles is the bad one.” I smiled as my place came into sight. I opened the door and brought Polly to the room that would be hers. I placed my teeth on her neck and dug my teeth into her skin and drank her blood. She will remain human. I kissed her and walked out of the room.
“Do what you have to do,” I told Stan.
I watched him walk into her room and shut the door. Polly will be mine.

I was heading out into the woods with a search party. We walked around the woods until we saw a house. I ran up to the house and looked through the window and saw my Polly fast asleep. Her arms and legs were tied up. There was a man there doing something to her. I jumped through the window and ran toward Polly but five other men came into the room and started attacking me, my eyes still on Polly. I saw a man pick her up and jump out of the other window. I kept fighting the men and thought to myself “I had to get Polly!!”.
“Guards!” I yelled. All of the guards came running in and attacked the five men. I ran out of the other window and followed the man that took Polly. He turned around and looked at me with an evil smile. I realized that it was Dimitri.
“Let her go” I yelled at Dimitri. I watched him bring his mouth towards Polly’s neck. He stuck out his fangs and pressed them to her neck. He laughed as he dug his teeth into her and drank some of her blood. I ran toward him at full speed. I grabbed Polly out of his arms and ran toward my place. I saw her eyes starting to open.

I opened my eyes and there was Charles. I screamed and tried to get out of his grip.
“Don’t hurt me,” I begged.
When he untied my wrists and legs I punched him in the face and started to cry.
“Polly... I won’t hurt you. Oh no they didn’t...” said Charles.
I saw Dimitri and ran toward him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him.
“Dimitri please don’t let him hurt me,” I said.
He pushed me back behind him.
“Polly listen to me he’s the bad guy. He kidnapped you and made you think that you love him and that I’m the bad guy,” said Charles.
I started to cry. Charles walked toward Dimitri and grabbed him by the neck.
Charles threw Dimitri far away from me. He reached down and picked me up into his arms. I put my head against his chest and cried. He kissed my forehead gently.
“My Polly’s back,” Charles said. He started to run across the woods until someone ran into us. It was Dimitri. I wrapped my arms around Charles tightly and saw Lissa and Mason coming toward us.
“Charles let us take Polly to your place while you deal with him so that he won’t get near her. We will get your parents and let them know what’s happening,” said Mason.
Charles took my hands and looked into my eyes.
“Polly go with them and be safe,” said Charles.
I started to run toward Lissa and Mason but someone grabbed me and started to drag me. I struggled to get out of his grip. I looked up and saw that it was Dimitri. I looked toward Charles and saw him fighting off some other vampire.
“Charles help me please!!” I yelled.
I was crying when I called him. Dimitri lifted me up by my neck and threw me into the ground.
“Keep quiet or else..” said Dimitri.
I stood up and tried to get away from him. He grabbed me and brought me up to the top of a tree.
Dimitri climbed down the tree and went toward Charles.
“Someone help me please!” I was screaming as loud as I could. I know Charles heard me because I saw him looking around.

“Where is she?” I grabbed Dimitri by the neck and slammed him into the ground.
“I hid her somewhere in the woods,” said Dimitri.
“Tell me where she is or I’ll end your life.” I looked around the woods.
“We found her,” said Mason and he walked out with Polly in his arms. I ran over to Mason and took Polly out of his arms.
“What happened to her?” I asked Mason.
“We found her lying on the forest floor. Several of her bones were broken. She had to be up high for this much damage to be done.” said Lissa.
“Thank you. Can you handle him? I have to go get her some help.” I said to Mason and Lissa.
“Yes, hurry,” said Mason. I ran to my house. I brought her up to her room and laid her on her bed and kissed her forehead.
“I’m so sorry this happened my love. It wasn’t meant to happen.” I whispered to Polly.
