Kristen's POV :

I smiled to myself as I stared at the table, I have cooked the most delicious dinner ever , Richard will get crazy when he seen this .
I chuckled at the thought and bit my bottom lip, This week was amazing , Richard was still a jerk , but in a good way, if you know what i mean ...
He was not hurting me any more and he joked and made me laugh all week, he made some stupid jokes about my hair , once again I can say we are practically best friends ( with no benefits tho)
I sighed and my smile disappeared once I remembered our small deal, he was home all week and ditched all his lessons , he only went out to the grocery shop and he tried his best to look after me , this means he wasn't sleeping around , don't get me wrong I like that he has changed .
But what I don't like is that we were in a fake relationship , we were fake couples .
He could have been with a prettier girl now , a smarter girl….
I sighed and shook my head "stupid Kristen" I thought out loud .
"Hey! Don't call my wife stupid " Richard's voice made my heart beat thousand times faster than normal, I turned around and my heart literally stopped when I saw him.
I bit my lip and looked away, in an attempt to stop checking him out .
"Are you inviting someone over?" He asked , I looked at him and saw him smiling politely.
"umm not really , it's just the two of us " I smiled back , He nodded in understanding.
"Do you mean… all this delicious food is made for the two of us?" Richard raised one of his eyebrows, as my smile grew.
"It's actually made for you, for taking care of me all this time " I admitted , Richard's smile faded , as he nodded his head and made his way over a chair .
"I like your way of saying thank you " Richard said sarcastically, I just chuckled when I realized his mouth has watered for the food and the poor guy looked very hungry.
"Ok , fine thank you Richard Anderson " I said sounding a bit annoyed .
He grinned from ear to ear and stared at the food again .
I sat on a chair opposite to Richard's and soon we started eating , and let me tell you this , Richard's stomach is thousand times as the size of any normal person .
I just shook my head at him , after washing the dishes , I made coffee and poured us each a cup.
Richard was watching TV when I went into the living room, He was frowning at god knows what, when I got closer to him , I could hear the TV and remembered that the world cup 2014 has begun for soccer and his favorite team might not be doing so good …
Richard's expression immediately softened when he saw me , he smiled and patted the seat beside him for me to sit.
I sat beside him and stared at the TV , the result was still 0-0 , I had no idea why guys love soccer or football this much , since I wasn't a fan of either of them, But I wished Richard's team win. I have no idea why though.
To my surprise he muted the TV and turned towards me, he took his cup of coffee from my hand and thanked me. I just nodded my head and sipped at my drink.
Richard's expression changed to serious in only two seconds, He sighed and ran a hand through his gorgeous hair.
"Kristen …" The way he said my name sent chills from my toe to my head and back to my toe then back to my head and –
" There is something we need to talk a about" Richard stared at me , as he tried to say the next words he was about to say to me .I just looked at him and waited .
" You know we are not into each other , and I am not sure if we ever be . I mean we are friends , we can't be more than friends it's just gonna be awkward" He bit on his bottom lip , as he studied me , I frowned since I had no idea what was his intention of telling me these .
Richard continued to talk when he saw my confused expression.
" I think Damon loves you , and honestly I think he is a great guy …" He stated , I don't like where this conversation goes but I have no choice but listen " I think you guys deserve each other, I was the reason that he never admitted his feelings for you and I feel like shit about it, I have … never been a good husband to you, and I want you to date Damon , I told him that I will talk to you about it and-"
"Richard " My voice sounded frustrated but I wasn't ,actually I was really surprised , This is never the Richard that gave me the ring when we first talked with each other after we knew about our marriage , and I just love this Richard . Umm as a friend …
He sighed and waited for me to tell him whatever I wanted to say to him, I brushed my hair out of my eyes and licked my lips , they felt dry after hearing what Richard just said .
"I am married to you , and I think you telling me to cheat on you when you are the one asking me to cheat on you sounds like a bad idea " I mentally face palmed myself for saying stupid things , But Richard nodded his head in agreement , which meant he had understood .
" I think I have hurt you enough , and by the way I have cheated on you and you knew that I have been cheating on you , right ?"
" right "
"So it's only fair, that I let you be with whomever you wanna be "
"it's not easy Richard, what if somebody sees us "
"You're best friends silly ,nobody is gonna suspect , and who said I want him to kiss you in public "
"But-"
"No buts, You need to give it a shot Kristen , please do this for me "
I stared at his eyes ,and I knew he was right , I couldn’t die single, hell I couldn’t live single .
"Fine " I sighed ,Richard smiled and hugged me , as he pulled away He cleared his throat .
" If he ever , and I mean EVER hurt you , tell me to kick his ass okay ?"
At first I thought , Richard was just joking but when I saw his face and the words really sink in , I felt warm and safe . I nodded my head , he just smiled .

" So how was it ?" Natalie asked me , I was too busy reading Harry potter , that I had no idea what she meant . And let me tell you, the seventh book is hilarious .
"What ?" I murmured , I narrowed my eyes at Ron , for being so stupid and thinking that Harry and Hermione liked each other , Natalie sighed and punched my shoulder , and god it hurt .
"Ouch ! What was that for ? " I exclaimed as I rubbed my shoulder and stared at Natalie who frowning at me, which meant I was in trouble …
" Were you even listening ? stop reading this crap or you'll end up like doing some magic …" Natalie's voice trailed off as she was thinking of what she just said , I just chuckled and put my favorite book in my backpack .
" I am all ears now " I sang and waited patiently for Natalie to repeat what she wanted to tell me .
" How was the kiss ?" She whispered teasingly , I swear if we weren't in school's cafeteria I would have choked her to death , Oh and she was my best friend so I have to think twice about choking her to death.
I sighed and played with a strand of my hair with one finger .
" It was nice " I didn't lie when I said that, because I enjoyed it , but there was something else bothering me , and I had no idea what it was. I knew it has to do something with Richard, But I just didn't know what it was.
Natalie grinned and was about to say more, but her mouth closed and she was looking elsewhere behind me, I frowned at her and turned around to see Damon walking towards us. I turned my attention back to Natalie and busied myself with my ring.
" Hey guys " Damon greeted us as he made himself comfortable on a chair .
"Hi " me and Natalie both said in union .
" So what's up?" Damon asked as he stared at us, me and Natalie both exchanged a look , I had no idea why I was nervous , maybe it was because of what Richard has told me , or maybe it was because I have decided that I will date Damon finally.
" We were just talking about how hot Harry Potter is " Natalie answered , I giggled at her response and cleared my throat when Damon gave me a questioning look , I think it was more of a warning look ' We are not dating yet silly, no need to be jealous ' I thought to myself .
Natalie sighed and batted her eyelashes for more affect .
" What is so hot about Harry Potter ?"Damon raised an eyebrow , and dare I say he was thousand times hotter than Harry Potter . My heart beat raised when I noticed his messy hair and brown eyes , I swear he committed a crime for being so good looking today –if you know what I mean …
Of course Richard was sexy and hot as hell, he looked like model and he was so cute when he smiled politely but I gotta admit that Damon was as cute and gorgeous as Richard in his own ways.
" Oh , well… " Natalie tapped her chin as she was thinking of an answer, I smiled at her , and stared at Damon again , he noticed me glancing at him , he was soon staring into my eyes . I blushed when he caught me checking him out , unlike Richard though he was very polite and kind.
He just smiled and looked away , because Natalie has obviously started talking again " His gorgeous eyes, his amazing thin lips , his-"
Damon face palmed himself and rolled his eyes.
"What?" Natalie frowned at him , Damon sighed and rubbed his thin nice stubble .
" Seriously? His thin lips ? Please don't tell me you have told your boyfriend the same thing " Damon shook his head .
" What's wrong with his lips? You're just jealous of him , have you seen his recent pictures? He is an adult now and let me tell you this Damon, He looks H-O-T!"
I chuckled and held my hands in order to stop them , before Damon open his mouth to talk again " Guys, stop it " Thank god they stopped arguing , which was giving me a head ache actually.
"Your prince charming is checking you out " Damon told Natalie after a while, Natalie blushed and stood up " See you guys later " she said after picking up her books and heading towards her man .
" How are you doing ? " Damon asked , His eyes full of concern and love , I knew he was talking about one week ago , So I smiled at him " I am great whenever I am around you guys " Damon smiled and let out a sigh of relief .
I sighed nervously as I debated with myself whether to tell him about what Richard told me this morning or not , but I realized the sooner I tell him the better .
"Richard told me about your feelings toward me this morning " I started , Damon's eyes widened for a while before he bit on his lips and sighed .
"And?" He asked impatiently , as he was staring at me .
" I … I told Richard that I would give it a shot , I mean I have always had feelings for you and Richard said he won't mind us dating, since we are just friends and nothing more " I continued with the same tone in my voice that I have started with .
"So will you go out with me?" I asked Damon before I bit on my lip nervously , god I was doing this a lot I needed to stop biting my lip whenever I am nervous .
"Yes " Damon was smiling as he responded . And I could feel the joy forming in his eyes.
Since it was safe to hug him and I hugged him most of the time, I hugged him with all my force, he hugged me back and chuckled.

I smiled to myself as I walked inside of me and Richard's house , the house looked silent . And I guess Richard might be asleep , because if he had been awake , he would have been either eating or watching soccer .
I was about to walk upstairs , when I suddenly heard a girl's voice. Richard isn't sleeping around again is he ?
Curiosity got the better of me and I headed towards the living room where the source of the sound was.
I peeked and saw Mr. and Mrs. Anderson talking to Richard . He looked happy to see his parents visiting him , so I decided to greet them and maybe make Richard a little bit proud of me .
I cleared my throat, and made my way towards my mother and father-in law , they both greeted me and hugged me .
"Oh dear she has grown up and she looks like a very mature lady now" Mrs. Anderson claimed and smiled politely at me.
"Thank you ma'am " I smiled and stared at Richard , he looked absolutely stunning with his dirty blonde hair , which looked different today. And he was smiling at me and mouthed 'Thank you ' I just nodded my head and stared at his parents again.
"We have great news for you guys " Mr. Anderson said and stared at his wife , ame and Richard both exchanged questioning looks before turning into their direction again.
