The next day, my classes up until lunch time hasn't gotten any better. As I predicted, half the school thinks I have an eating disorder and the students who aren't in any classes with me now calls me the foreigner. I'm still trying to hold myself together and stay strong, but with all the whispering behind my back and people staring at me, I don't know if I can take it anymore. This is way worst than my high school life in Europe. At least there, people didn't call me the foreigner who couldn't speak English and nobody said anything about me having an eating disorder. Everybody just flat out ignored me.
As I sat at my desk during the break, I pulled out my bento box which I made sure was with me when I walked to school. I set it on my desk and opened it up to see a lot of delicious food in it. Rice, vegetables and meat. It looked absolutely delicious and I couldn't wait to take a bite.
I grabbed my chopsticks and picked up a piece of meat then proceeded to put it in my mouth when I heard a couple more people whispering about me. I glanced over at them to see them staring at me.
"Is he eating today?" One girl asked.
"Looks like it." The second girl said.
"I thought he had an eating disorder?" The third girl asked.
"He probably eats the food then throws it back up." The first girl said.
"Ew. That's totally gross. I can't believe he does that and for what?" The second girl said.
"Who knows. Maybe he's trying to slim down for somebody." The third girl said.
"I hope he's not thinking about trying to impress Rei. He's mine." The first girl said.
Rei?! Are they talking about THE Rei Kanagawa??
I sighed then closed my bento box and set my chopsticks on top, not feeling hungry anymore. I'm definitely not trying to impress Rei. I don't even know who he is. There's really no point in eating at all at school because everybody would still think of me as the foreigner with an eating disorder and now they'll think i'm gross because I eat food and puke it back up which I don't.

During gym class, I couldn't even focus. The effects of not eating all day and doing physical activity has started to set in. Today in gym class, everybody is playing basketball and talking, but I can't even play basketball with everybody else because my body feels worn down and I feel absolutely dizzy.
As I stood there, I felt myself about to pass out when someone shouted.
"Watch out!"
The next thing I know, a basketball flies towards me and hits me square in the face, giving me a nosebleed. I collapsed onto the ground and officially passed out.
When I woke up in the infirmary, I had a bandage on the bridge of my nose and it hurt so much when I touched it. I slowly sat up in my bed and looked over to see the nurse staring down at me.
"Good. You're awake."
I sighed. "What happen this time?" I asked.
"You got knocked out by a basketball and it caused you to have a nosebleed." An unfamiliar male voice said.
The nurse moved over and revealed a boy that I didn't recognize. He had blond hair and bright yellow eyes.
I blinked as I stared at him.
"Who...who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Remi Fugunaga. I'm in your class." He said.
I slowly nodded. "Did you bring me here?"
"Not exactly." He said.
"I'll let you two talk. I have to do some work." The nurse said then walked over to her desk.
"What do you mean not exactly?"
"Well..." Remi smiled shyly. "Rei brought you here. I just tagged along with him to make sure you're alright."
My eyes widen. "R-Rei? You mean Rei Kanagawa?" I asked.
Remi nodded. "Yeah. He brought you here yesterday when you passed out on the track."
I couldn't believe it. Rei brought me to the nurse's office again? Why?
"I-I see....."
"Yeah. Rei is a pretty nice dude. He cares about people more than himself. He actually offered to carry you when nobody else wanted to take you here." Remi explained.
I slowly smiled to myself. So...Rei DOES care and he's not the type to be small minded.
"Are you okay? Do you wanna head back to gym class?" Remi asked.
I nodded. "Sure. I feel alright now." I said then hopped off the bed.
"Thanks again, Ms..." I started.
"Call me Nurse Kani." She said with a smile.
I smiled also. "Okay, Nurse Kani." I said then started to walk out of the infirmary with Remi.
So Rei brought me to the nurse's office again and Remi was also concerned about me even though we don't know each other. I guess I should start trusting Remi. He seems alright and nice and caring. I need a friend while i'm going through this high school hell.
