Later that day, me and Remi were walking down the hallways, talking. When suddenly...
"Hey! Isn't that Rei and Saito? Let's go say hi!" Remi said then dashed down the hallway to them.
I blinked my eyes and watched Remi disappear right in front of me.
"R-Remi...." I said then sighed and followed after him.
I came to a stop once I was in front of Saito and Rei.
"Guys, this is my new friend Arata Tachibana. He just moved here from Europe." Remi said.
"Hey..." Saito said, looking at me. "No wonder you seem familiar. You're that foreigner with the eating disorder."
All of a sudden, my heart stopped.
"Eating disorder?" Rei asked.
"Yeah. Everybody says he eats food and then throws it back up. I also heard that he can't really speak Japanese..." Saito said.
"Really?" Rei said then he looked at me.
I bit down on my bottom lip then turned on my heel and dashed down the hallway.
"A-Arata!" Rei called out then he started to follow me down the hallway.
"Arata! Wait!" Rei called out again.
I came to a complete stop then I turned around and faced him.
Rei stopped right behind me and smiled.
"Look, if you have an eating disorder..." He started.
"I don't!" I shouted.
Then I turned my back towards him. "But I might as well have it." I mumbled.
"Wh-what?"
I sighed then started to walk away from him.
"Just....Just leave me alone..." I said.
"Arata." Rei said then he grabbed onto my wrist to stop me from walking.
"L-Let go!" I said.
The next thing I knew, Rei pushed me against the wall and pinned me to it. He stared down at me with a smile. I couldn't help, but to blush. This was my first time being so close to Rei and I was able to smell his sweet scent.
"I was gonna say I don't care if you have an eating disorder. Let's just be friends alright?" He said then pulled away from me and held out his hand.
"Gimmie your cell phone."
Without questioning, I pulled my cell phone out and handed it to him, not sure what he's going to do with it. Then I watched Rei do something to both of our phones before he handed mine back to me.
"I input my number into your phone. Call me okay?" He said with a soft smile then started to walk away.
I stood there, watching Rei walk away from me before I glanced at his number on my phone. The only other numbers that are in my phone is the house phone and my mom's cell phone. I smiled softly then pressed my phone against my chest.
