Analysis: Sasuke would’ve wiped the floor with Kakashi!
Kakashi and Sakura (basically passionate KakaSaku fans) pass around a lot of assumptions about this fight, but the truth of the matter is vastly different in canon. Kakashi failed to even stagger a worn-out Sasuke, even though he caught him off guard, twice.
This is the first time:
Sasuke evades Kakashi’s kick and blocks his attack perfectly! He doesn’t stagger and is on his feet in a second. And this happened when Kakashi actually caught him off-guard. Sasuke still gave him no room to affect him physically in any meaningful manner.
People give Sasuke a lot of heat for this line:
But is it wrong? (Look at Kakashi talk about the Third fondly, a man that was involved in the Uchiha massacre, in front of the massacre’s victim!) Kakashi didn’t even anticipate Sasuke’s speed, even though he ran at him from the front:

But healed Sasuke moves at the same speed as Raiton Version-1 (V1) cloaked (Raiton Cloak without the Bijuu-level chakra input) Ae:
This is the healed Sasuke, who’s able to move much faster than before. Remember, Bee was literally selected as code-name Bee (yes, Bee could’ve been anyone who passed the Lariat test!) to be 4th Raikage’s (Ae’s) bodyguard on the basis of Lariat. So he can see Sasuke move as he’s practiced with his brother for years! His opinion is objective because he knows how his brother moves since he was 5 years old. This speed of Sasuke’s is shown in action against Raikage in V1:
See? Sasuke not only MATCHED V1 Ae’s speed, but he also showed faster reflexes to dodge and land his attack on him, as well. Even in his top speed V2 cloak (the image under the Chidori one), into which he poured Bijuu level chakra, Sasuke’s still able to use Kagatsuchi (Blaze Release) creatively to stop Raikage in his tracks:
This image is of the Version 2 Raiton cloak that Ae created to evade Amaterasu. He pumped Biju-level reserves into it and Sasuke still managed to react perfectly. Even though he couldn’t keep up with Ae when he was using V2 Cloak in body speed, he could keep up with him in reaction speed as shown above:
It isn’t surprising that Sasuke’s that fast because Ae without V1 matched Minato, and with V1, he exceeded his foot-speed! Sasuke managed to out-speed V1 Ae by evading and hitting him with Chidori. Ae, on the other hand, missed his mark!

Coming back to the Kakashi thing, he couldn’t even anticipate Sasuke’s speed burst and this is a tired Sasuke. He couldn’t anticipate when he took out the Susanoo and fired two arrows, either!
He barely saved his neck with his own MS:

^ It’s so amazing that even here Sasuke shows how clever he his. He knows he can’t see properly, so to make sure that he doesn’t miss Sakura’s neck, he grabs her by the throat!
Naruto shows up in the nick of time to save Sakura … again!
This is where the second off-guard moment happens; but unlike before, Sasuke can’t even see properly here:
^ Look at this! Kakashi can only approach Sasuke when his guard is down and when he can’t see. Even then, Sasuke, unlike Sakura, turns around fast enough to block Kakashi’s attack with childish ease. Again!
^ Sasuke lands on his feet perfectly! Kakashi completely failed both times to even stagger Sasuke when he was caught off-guard both times, and he couldn’t even see properly the second time! It’s fairly easy to poke fun at Kakashi fans and KakaSaku shippers here. They make it so easy. I mean, in which panel did Kakashi not scream, sweat, or show shock with big round eyes when even remotely confronting an exhausted and near-blind Sasuke? Which panel? I suppose, Fan-Fictions are more than enough to feed this crowd’s fantasies.
Then he says some really detestable things (and Kakashi’s always been a detestable person) about a victim of genocide that how he needs to be put down for the village’s sake despite accepting that he’s a victim:
Imagine making justifications for this morally bankrupt man ’cause he’s nice to Sakura and is good for few soccer moms’ self-inserting antics in poorly written Fan-Fictions. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
And guess what? Sasuke’s still got enough chakra to take him on as he immediately pulls out a Chidori to battle Kakashi without hesitation:
Remember, Susanoo can be used without the eyes, which is why Madara was using it against the Bijuu on the battlefield. It only needs both eyes to unlock it. It doesn’t need eyesight to function:
Sasuke couldn’t gain a higher Susanoo against Mei ’cause his chakra was starting to weaken:
That isn’t the case here as Karin had healed Sasuke enough that his chakra, at least, wasn’t weakening like last time, and when he upped his chakra to form a bigger Susanoo, even Sakura, a non-Sensor, felt his chakra ’cause it was large, thick, and threatening enough to be felt. He simply lost his Susanoo ’cause of sudden disruption in chakra flow to the eyes (Kakashi’s convenient plot-armor, basically):
All he had to do was pull Susanoo back out again and Kakashi would’ve been toast. Just once would’ve done the job as Kakashi’s MS-trip was done for the day. He wouldn’t have been able to use Kamui like he himself said. He could’ve easily killed Sakura in hand to hand combat. She’s no match for him on any front as she couldn’t even turn in time to evade an exhausted Sasuke’s strike.
If Kakashi, Sakura, and KakaSaku fans want to spread around some reddit-like meme-y Fan-Fictions, be my guest. But the truth is on the paper in canon. Kakashi got saved by Naruto. He would’ve been killed by Obito twenty times over, too, like he got beaten up by him in war.
