Yes, Sasuke re-Invented Lee’s Taijutsu move in one day! Yes, you read it right! He reinvented it. You don’t believe me? Here you go:

Kakashi: It looked like the techniques he used prior to the Shishirendan were DERIVED from Gai’s fighting style …

Let’s see what Sasuke, Lee, and Gai have to say about this:

Sasuke: … what I was able to DRAW from you.

Lee: In just one encounter, he managed to acquire and master the move I used on him! … I feel … a little … afraid.

Gai: … requires a body that’s been GRADUALLY TRAINED AND HONED OVER A LONG PERIOD. The Lotus, or Renge, is not a simple thing THAT CAN BE MASTERED IN A SINGLE DAY, EVEN THROUGH THE USE OF THE SHARINGAN. AND THE EXPRESSIVENESS OF THAT FINAL MOVE …

So, let me get this straight, all of them are shocked that Sasuke copied and created a style of his own in a single day? Gai and Lee are shocked, yet the Sasuke-hating lobby is so convinced that Sasuke stole Lee’s technique that they apparently know more about how the Taijutsu techniques work compared to Gai and Lee themselves? Isn’t it amazing? I love this logic. It’s funny enough to put most self-assuring fools to shame.

Oh, and that curse-mark? Sasuke and Kimimaro were given the best Cursed Seals:

And Jugo’s curse mark and these two seals are Sage Mode and work on Senjutsu:

The seal drained and eroded Sasuke’s chakra and caused him pain in its first form. He was dying slowly every time he released it or it came up:

But he was still able to master and execute that move perfectly in that condition:

Not only was the Cursed Seal draining his chakra and causing him pain, but his opponent was draining his chakra, too. And maintaining chakra control in such a state is impossible! “But Sakura’s got the perfect chakra control …” Not at all. Sasuke not only partially mastered Senjutsu here, but also mastered his own created Taijutsu move, too!

That Taijutsu speed when Sasuke used Chidori? Sasuke had never even seen that fight between Gaara and Lee! He was taken away by Kakashi immediately to seal the cursed mark. He spent that time in a coma! Is it really that hard to read this manga?

Oh, lookie here. Lee and Gai are praising Sasuke again for accomplishing the impossible: Learning and mastering Chidori and Lee’s first gate speed (which he’d never seen), ’cause changing chakra’s form alone is an above A-Rank feat and people who combine change in form and nature are very rare:

He took well over a decade to learn it through clones. All that is explained in the above post. On top of that, you have to learn the chakra patterning, too:

So Sasuke learnt and mastered several things in mere two weeks, as, during this month, he was in a coma for most of the time. Just two weeks! Gai and Lee are beyond surprised as that isn’t even possible to accomplish this. Also, Sakura’s perfect chakra control isn’t really a thing. First, she’s got delicate chakra control; second, she was only able to control it better than Sasuke and Naruto (in Part-I only) as her chakra reserves were so tiny:

Sasuke’s got massive chakra reserves as he’s an Uchiha, and massive chakra reserves mean more effort required to control the reserves as Kakashi says above:

And if he wasn’t so good at chakra control, Senjutsu, and Ninjutsu skill, he wouldn’t have been praised by Jugo (the original user of the this type of Sage Mode), Orochimaru, and Tobirama of all the people who compared the talent of a 17-year-old child to a prodigy in his late 30′s or possibly early 40′s. You know, Madara?
