'I'm excited to watch your new movie.' I said,unsure of what else to talk about. Tranquil park is a very short walk distance away from the store. I walked with her,feeling very awkward about the present situation. We were walking alongside the small pond.
'I'm so glad to hear that!' she said cheerfully.Her spanish accent is much thicker than Dominic.
Dominic returned from his short jog.He started speaking from under his hoodie 'Do you want an ice cream,senorita?' He handed me a double chocolate cone.
'Um...No,thank you. I have to go home and-'
'I insist.' He said smirking and shoved it into my hands. I reluctantly took it and sighed.
'Can I have one too?' Mia asked expectantly.
'I had enough change to buy just one.' He stated plainly. Mia was deeply disappointed. I diverted the topic.
'Why don't do you do another run?' I suggested. Dominic look very amused. He slowly nodded,winked at me and resumed his rounds.
'You can have this....' I said giving her the ice-cream.
'No,he gave it to you.' She gave a weak smile.Something's off.
'You can talk to me about it.Please?' I said. We sat on a bench.
She gave a small nod and said 'I'll be honest. Is that alright?' I nodded.
'Dominic's parents adopted me 8 years ago. My real parents died when I was 4.' This shocked me very much.
'They took great care of you right?' I asked smiling.
She smiled and nodded 'Growing up along with Dominic was one of my best experiences.' Her smile turned into a frown again. I realized what she was about to say next.
I asked 'Did you by any chance....develop feelings for...?'
She looked astonished. Then she shook her head sideways. ' He hasn't acknowledged my emotions because he sees me as his sister not as a woman.'
'Have you told him?'
'Nope. I am giving him indirect clues of how I feel. He has failed to detect my motives and reciprocate my feelings.' She said. I felt a sort of pain in my heart.
'His eyes and heart belong to some other woman at the moment.' She said sadly as she glanced at me. 'I've never seen him so mesmerized before.'
Is someone else getting hurt because of me? I'm in her way. What have I done.....Damn me!
'I'm sorry-'
'No it's not your fault.' She smiled again. 'Don't worry.' I looked down. I silently finished my ice cream while Mia starting talking about something else. She is a great admirer of fashion,I see.I should gift her some clothes on her birthday. Dominic was back again. He sipped on some energy drink. I looked at my phone's screen. 5:27 PM. I started getting up.
'I need to go home now-'
'Stay.' Dominic said coming closer as he shot a glance at Mia.
'Maybe some other time,Dominic.' I said. 'I have to finish reading one my books'
'I have another match with Germany. A day from now. I want you to come.' He said staring deep into my eyes. I gulped and gave a short nod. 'Let me drop you.'
'My brother will be here to pick me up. Please don't strain yourself.' I said looking at the ground.As he had returned from making rounds,he was panting for breath. His chest heaved up and down. He nodded reluctantly.I passed him. I turned and waved Mia goodbye. I had to walk over the small bridge to reach the exiting gates.
I was half way through when I bumped into someone. Ouch! The man whom I collided with stumbled a few steps back too. He gripped us firmly.I felt like our hips got stuck to each other.I took a few steps back,putting a distance between us.
'I'm sorry sir I was in a hurry-' My eyes widened.
Levi?! Night black eyes stared at me intensely.What is he doing here? He looked dashing in one of the best men's suits I've ever seen.He came closer and looked down at me with- Is that adoration?
'I want you to forgive me,princess.' He said. 'I'll do anything to make it up to you.' He seemed so honest. I sighed. I nodded. But if he dare start a fight-
'Thank you!' He said as he came much closer.I tilted my head sideways.
'What are you doing here,may I ask?' I said.
He grinned 'I come here often actually.'
I turned towards him 'You like this place?' I asked raising my eyebrows.He nodded,still grinning. 'Why?'
He took out his hands from his pockets and held my hands. This surprised me more.
'Because this is where I saw you for the first time.'
What!? The first time I saw him was at the interview.He stared and stared at me. I shook my head and tried to move past him but he stepped before me.
'I can't control it.' He said closing his eyes tightly. I gave him a puzzled look. 'This is where I'll be kissing you for the first time too.'
He moved faster than I could react. He pulled my hands towards him and our chests collided hardly. He crashed his mouth onto mine which left me hypnotized
Mph...I muffled against his lips but it was in vain. He moved very gently and pulled me close. We broke away and panted very heavily for a few seconds. He looked at me with untamable lust. Good God in heaven,this is the first time I've-
Without warning,he kissed me again. Oh my sweet Lord,it is very much intense this time. His mouth moved in a certain rhythm: slow,hungry and demanding. We took deep breaths in between.
So this is what a kiss feels like? I was trembling a bit but he pulled me more closer. His hands moved from my shoulders and gripped my waist.
I saw a few kids coming our way. I gave a small push,thus putting a gap between our bodies. I touched my cheeks. I wish I had a mirror to see how red I looked.He just stared at me as if I were the most precious thing to him.
'Th-this is more than enough for now. I need to go home.' I blurted out as I turned around and covered my cheeks with my hands.
He gave the most pleasant and joyful chuckle behind me. 'Aren't you forgetting something?' He asked. I turned only my head towards him and gave him a puzzled look.
'You belong to me from now on. You hear me,princess?' He said taking a step front. 'Me alone.'
'We'll see about that.' A voice came from behind me. I turned.
'Never claim what's mine,Valerio.' Levi said glaring at him. 'You'll be digging your own grave.'
Dominic replied 'You better stop before I accidentally punch you or something.'
Before Levi could reply I cut in. ' Stop.'
'Didn't you head home 5 minutes ago?' Dominic asked.
'I had to....talk about something with her.' Levi said with a wide smirk.
Out of nowhere,Mia popped from beside me. 'Dominic,why did you run away so suddenly?' She asked while taking deep breaths. He didn't answer her. She looked at me and said hello. I gave a nod.
I looked at the gates. Simon isn't here to pick me up yet....what's taking him so long? It's getting dark already.
My phone beeped,indicating that I had got a few texts. I snapped out my phone and read the texts,ignoring the eye-to-eye battle between Levi and Dominic.
'Has something happened?' Mia asked as she stood beside me. I told them. All three were extremely shocked.
' I will track his phone and find out his location.' Levi said and began dialling on his phone quickly.
' I shall send my men too.' Dominic said and nodded at Mia. She typed an e-mail within seconds and sent it to someone.
My brother is missing.God,please let him be okay. I'll find you Simon. Please hang on.
