SARA'S POV:
'You look very captivating,Miss.' He said out of the blue. I thought his eyes were fixed on the road ahead but they were fixed on me instead. I then noticed that we had stopped cause of the red light. Okay....
He is going to be the death of me. I looked out of the window,to hide my face and replied 'T-Thank you,Sir.'
'Do I have to remind you again to call me by my name?' He asked.
I took a deep breath and it took me a lot of strength to say 'Thanks,Levi.'
He smirked and winked. Good Lord in heaven,give me strength.
The green light glowed and we began moving again. He turned back towards the road.
'Um...Where are we going?' I enquired.
'Secret~' He teased. 'But I can give a hint that we're going to have a meal first.'
Suddenly my phone beeped,indicating that I got a text from someone. I pulled the phone out of my little handbag and checked it.
I sighed,put the phone back and gazed out of the window.
'So...May I ask who was it?' He said.
'Just Simon.' I replied plainly as I looked at him.
'Hmm....I see.' He glanced at me and turned his head back towards the road. 'We're here.' He said. I looked out of the window and I just stared.
Never have I ever entered that restaurant. It's too expensive and glorious. There were people lingering outside,mostly guards or people who manage the place. Levi stopped the car right before the entrance. His body guards already happened to be stationed at different locations.
He got out of the car,walking to my side and opened the door for me. I didn't know he was such a gentleman. He offered his hand and I took it. I carefully got out of the car. My mom is one of those people who doesn't like it if her kid's clothes are wrinkled,torn or dirty. Can't help that.
God knows what happened but lots of people were running towards us....photographers,interviewers,fangirls ( of Levi) and other sorts of people. Some were literally squealing.
Levi's guards made two lines parallel to each other,making a way for us to enter the restaurant.He smiled,placed a warm hand at the back of my waist and said 'Shall we?' I nodded reluctantly.
As we made our way towards the main door,the people went on asking quite a number of questions.
'.....Mr.Blackford,we've estimated that your income will increase from Billions to Trillions in 1-2 years. Can you tell us more about your recent plans?'
'...Who is that girl? She looks very young.'
'Ma'am what's your name?'
'We've heard that you will be constructing an airport in Switzerland?......'
' Excuse me Mr.Blackford, Is she your girlfriend?'
I had to freeze at that last question. I looked up at him. He was already grinning. He asked 'What do I tell them,princess?' I looked down and stayed quiet. Oh my sweet buttery Jesus.
Levi handed the car keys to the valet parking boy,whoever he was. We went inside and the view was magnificient. WOAH. Lights illuminating the whole place,chandeliers adding beauty,waiters in posh uniforms doing their work,et cetera. I observed this place was for very rich people indeed. A man in blue suit came walking towards us. He looked like he was in his forties.
'Ah,Mr. Blackford! We're honored to have you here,sir.' He bowed. So he was the manager of this restraunt,his badge said so. 'And who is this gorgeous young woman?' He turned towards me. I took a step back.
'This is Miss.Kingston.' He gripped my waist harder and pulled me towards him. 'She's my princess.' He said frankly.
I swear on my wi-fi,if he doesn't stop doing this I will run away due to exceeding embarrassment.
'I see' He said and gave a short bow towards me. He continued 'Mr.Blackford here,had this place built a year ago..... May I mention that critics have given excellent reviews?' He said with a chuckle.
WHAT?! This guy owns every place I go to.
'I'm glad you're managing it well,Mr. Gerald.' Levi stated. 'If you could ready the private quarters?' He asked.
'Course! This way please~' He said and led us towards elevator. The paparazzi outside didn't seem to go away yet. People inside the restraunt got shocked,one by one,as they saw us walking. We got too many stares. One woman was about to drink her soup but the spoon dropped out of her hand after she looked at us. Wow. That's first time I seen such a reaction.
The three of us stepped inside the elevator and the manager pressed the button to the 18th floor. This is not one of the normal restaurants,definitely. The doors opened and we stepped out.....The view.was.Breath taking.
The manager led us towards empty tables,which looked much expensive and royal than the ones I saw on the ground floor. The interior was very presentable and first-class,I observed. We reached one of the tables and Levi drew back a chair for me to sit. I took my seat and was clearly astonished by how good the room was. Levi took his seat opposite to me with a nod.
Is all this even real?
The manager said 'This waiter is in charge of serving you today,Sir.' He guestured to a man who came from behind him. The manager bowed and disappeared.The waiter handed us two menus,which were black and had thick gold lining.
'What would you like to have this evening,Sir?' He turned towards me and added 'And ma'am?'
'You first' Levi interrupted before I could even ask what the cheapest dish was. Oh.
'Uh...Noodles?' I asked,trying to be as simple as possible.
'Of course. I suggest you try our best package.' He paused and continued.' The Hors d'oeuvre (appetizer) would be Manchurian Shrimp. Shezwan noodles will be the main course and last but not least,the desert will be chocolate chip ice cream.' He informed.
Did he just say chocolate? Alright,I'm game.
'Okay...' I said unsure of what he meant regarding the meals.
'Good!' He said and wrote it in his small notepad.
'And you Sir?' He asked turning towards Levi.
'Whatever the Lady is having.' He winked at me. I really want to run and hide behind a tree right now.
'Noted! The food will be served very shortly.' He said and went away.
I was taking my little purple handbag off when my right hand was gently taken by another another hand. I shot my head in that direction. Uh-oh.
Levi was suddenly beside me. Wha- I thought he was sitting on his chair?! Does he have a secret super power or something?
He covered my right hand's wrist (with both his hands) for two seconds and removed it. My eyes widened so much,I think my heart stopped beating for a few seconds.
Ah- Does he have any idea how much this could cost?!? I don't want him to give me any costly items. That's HIS money he is using! He can't waste it on me. I cannot accept this....You could buy a whole plane if you sold this thing.
More importantly,what would I tell my parents when they question me about where this Bracelet came from??
'Uh...sir,this too m-much...I'm afraid-'
'I won't take no for an answer.' He smirked. Stubborn,huh?
' I'm really-'
'Please?' He asked looking at me,giving that awfully brilliant look. I sighed. This guy and Aleah should have been born siblings. Won't stop gagging at us until we do what they wish.
'A-Alright,alright!' I said retreating my hand from his. His smile widened even more. He took his seat after he noticed that 2-3 waiters had arrived with our order. They positioned the dishes flawlessly,as expected. They disappeared after they were done.
I took the fork,ready to start eating the Manchi....Shrimp or whatever that's called. I don't care what it's called.
'You fascinate me very,very much.' He said suddenly.I looked up to find myself staring into two black eyes,gazing very intently. Unlike the woman I saw before,I managed not to drop the fork.
I flushed again and looked towards my meal. I started eating without a word.
This was going to be one of the toughest moments of my life. I better have enough energy to survive every sour- no...every sweet moment.
Who exactly is Levi? And why is he so determined to get my attention?
