' I'll be going on a business trip,Bella.The duration is for two weeks.' my Dad said at the dining table. Mom was serving scrambled eggs onto our plates. It was 8:03 in the morning and I still haven't spoken with Simon.
'More information on that subject please,Jamie?' Mom asked. She was a woman of schedule. She makes a mental note of the family members' whereabouts,always.
'I'll be leaving tomorrow morning for India. My project involves expanding one of our electronics unit.'
'I see. I shall prepare your suitcase then.' She said and Dad nodded. 'Simon,honey...you haven't finished your meal.'
I glanced. He snapped back to reality and started eating again. 'Have you had a fight or something?' she asked.
'Nothing's the matter. Please carry on.' I said. It was 8:10 and we headed out the main door.
( Her outfit for the day)
He looked so lost. We closed the door and proceeded towards where Calum waited on a regular basis. We found Levi instead. Simon frowned.
Levi started 'Please listen to me,I'm s-'
'Um...I'm getting late for school.' I said trying to shift the topic. 'Perhaps we can speak afterwards?'
Levi thought about it for a moment. He said 'I'll call you in the evening,please answer-' He broke off. I looked where he was staring at. Uh-oh.
'Where's the bracelet I gave you?' he asked amused.Simon looked like he understood our conversation.
'It....must be somewhere in my room.'
'What?' He asked in a whisper.He continued 'You're lying,princess. Kindly tell me who currently possesses it?'
'It's no big deal. I'll g-get it back from her,I promise-'
'Who?' Levi asked stepping closer.
'Must be Nina. She fits the category.' Simon said walking closer. 'And you didn't tell me anything?' He asked sadly.
'It's not of big importance. Let's go.' I told Simon. Now,he was angry too. Great way to start the day. Perfect.
We sat in the car,Simon started to lecture me and I was just about to close the car door. Another hand stopped me. I looked out. Levi opened the door wider and slid beside me.
'I didn't permit you to-'
'Just this once,Simon. Be patient.' Levi said. Simon muttered something I couldn't hear and turned away. Looks like someone else will be accompanying us. No point in resisting. Levi looks like he won't listen.
The journey was awfully quiet.We reached school at precisely 8:25.We got off and Calum drove away. We walked towards the entrance.'
I said 'You don't have to do this-'
He cut me off by walking very rapidly. I looked where he was going. Nina is in huge trouble.Everyone started looking at the well-known Levi. Some girls dropped their books,some had their jaws open.
'Very bad on your part,Nina.' Simon said furiously.She finally noticed us. She looked at him,then me then at Levi. She eyed him up and down.
'Give it back.' Levi stated gravely.
'What?' she said. I took a step back. Oh no.She looked at me 'You bitch. You know how to make a scene for sure.'
'Watch your mouth.' Levi said coming closer and glaring at her.Everyone around us started murmuring.
'Do what we say and we'll leave you alone. Do not anger me further.' Simon said. Levi gestured to the bracelet on her wrist.She glanced at it.
'Give it back before I snatch it from you,wench.' Levi said unable to control himself. Nina's look was priceless.She reluctantly took it off and handed it to him. Simon gave a nod.Levi slipped it back on my right hand and stared at it.
'We should go.' Simon said looking away. That's when something shocking happened. Everyone gasped. Within 2 seconds,Levi hand gripped Nina's arm. What....? Wait did she try to smack my cheek? What did I ever do to her?
'Wrong move.' Levi said as he held her arm in the air. 'Very unladylike.'
'I'll be reporting this to the head master. I'll see to it that you get suspended for impolite behavior.' Simon said as he took custody of her and walked fastly towards the doors. Everyone's murmurs grew louder.She protested loudly but no one in the school came to her aid.
'I'll contact you later as you've requested. Please leave. We've become the talk of the school here.' I said nervously,figeting with my fingers. He looked at me for 5 seconds or more and then sighed.
'I wanted to say I'm sorry. Please see me later.' He said and left reluctantly.
EVENING:
I crossed 'Butter' off my list. The grocery store was almost isolated this evening so I dropped by to grab some monthly provisions. Simon insisted that he accompanies me but I rejected him. I still haven't forgiven him or the other two men.Someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around.
'I cannot speak with you now,Dominic.' I said turned back to the shelf,searching for washing powder.
'I want to speak with you now,Senorita.' He said from under his hoodie. 'Maybe I won't pick a fight with either of them.' He added lazily.
'Maybe?' I asked raising my eyebrows.
'Well-'
'Hello~' A new voice said. I looked behind him. Mia was in a hoodie too and she stopped in front of us. I stared at her confused.
'You must be Sara. I saw you at the stadium the other day!' She said in a lively manner. 'He was thinking of you the whole time....' she said looking down sadly.
'Um-'
'Didn't I tell you to stay there? Did you follow me all the way here?!' Dominic hissed.
'I felt the urge to make a new friend.' She said trying to hide her sadness and she smiled again. Friends? With me?
She held out her hand and I slowly shook it,unsure of what else to do. 'Come with me to Tranquil Park!' She said.

A/N: I apologize for the short chapter length! I've had a hectic timetable for the past week and I was clearly tired. School has begun and I've resumed writing and updating. There will be a long chapter next time ^_^
