'Thanks,Calum' Simon said as we got out of the car. I nodded at Calum. Some students were being dropped by their parents,some came on cycles or a bus and some walked to school.
'See ya in the afternoon.' Calum,our driver,replied with a smile and drove away.
'Well,here goes nothing' I said and we both started walking towards the main entrance of Aerilon High. Pleasant weather,I thought.
Both of us got startled when someone bumped Simon on the back. The person revealed himself to be Keith Davidson. One of Simon's best buddies who had vivacious red hair and hazel eyes. He smiled and walked along with us.
'Hey Sara'. Keith greeted me in a polite way.
'Hey Keith' I answered back.
I could see Aleah going for the main door. I wanted to scare her as well,I thought mischievously.
'Hey guys. A very good morning,eh?' came a voice from behind. The three of us turned around to be greeted by a smiling guy with dirty blonde hair and silvery grey eyes. Nial Myrefall. Simon's other best buddy. I had to agree,the three of them are quite a capable and cool team altogether.
'Hey man.' Simon said with a bright smile. 'Done with the assignment?'
'Almost.' He said raising his eyebrows.
I interrupted. 'So I'll see you later. I gotta give Aleah a jumpscare!' I said in a lively manner.
'Sure,cupcake~' Simon hugged me with a chuckle. 'I'll see you in homeroom.' We let go and he started a conversation with Keith.
I turned to go when I felt a hand stop me. I turned.
'Uh...don't you look n-nice today?...' Nial said nervously.
I glaced at what I was wearing. A white lace blouse with 3/4 length sleeves,navy blue skinny jeans and purple ballerina shoes. Hmm...it's pretty normal.
'Why,thank you.' I replied with a smile. Nial smiled back.
'So,are you free sometime...soon?' He asked with a little hesitation.
'I think so.Why?' I turned to him completely.
'Well,we could go for a coffee sometime.' He said looking at me and glancing at the ground occasionally.
'Uh....okay.' I said with a little blush,looking up at him.
'Yo Simon,looks who's asking your sis out. You better keep an eye on him~' Keith said laughing and bumped Simon's shoulder with his fist.
'Oh,believe me,I always do.' Simon says before winking at me and all of the guys chuckled.
'Simon,I don't particularly mind.'I said with a little smile. 'No need to worry.He ain't dangerous.'
Nial said 'So today evening....after school?'
'Sure,I'll see you after school' I said with a nod. I turned around and sped up a little. I got inside the door and rushed to the locker section where a number of students were taking the items required for their respective classes. I found Aleah,finally.
I crept up to her in such a way that she wouldn't notice me. I lunged forward. She gave a small shriek with widened eyes.Some people turned to look at us.I chuckled.
'You scared the hell outta me!' she said relieving that it was just me.
'I know. That's why I did it.' I said with a wide grin. 'I should have recorded that though. I would upload it on Youtube and get millions of views.'
Aleah glared at me before saying 'Don't you dare.'
We laughed till the bell rung signaling that the first period would start soon.
'We should head to class.' I said.
'Yep.' Aleah said as she closed her locker.
We proceeded walking towards homeroom class.
