The narrow corridors of Fort Vigilance echoed with the heavy steps of the Eclipse Sovereignty trio—Neraxis, Zareth, and Nyxara—as they tore through the west wing with purpose. Behind them, chaos reigned. The creatures summoned by Zareth’s Abyssal Conjuration swarmed the base, their shadowy forms tearing through defenses and science mages alike with relentless ferocity.
Zareth’s dark aura pulsed ominously as more void creatures emerged from the ground, their distorted roars reverberating through the walls. “They’re nothing but ants,” he sneered, watching the mages fall helplessly before the growing horde. “Pathetic.”
Nyxara, walking at a brisk pace, glanced over her shoulder and spotted Captain Solari swiftly closing the distance atop her nanobot swarm. The shimmering silver tide moved with surgical precision, clearing a path through the destruction.
“That pesky insect,” Nyxara muttered. She stopped abruptly, her crimson irises glowing as her eyes glowed and activated Eye of Nullification. A pulse of dark energy surged forward, disrupting the nanobots instantly. Solari was thrown forward, landing hard on the metal floor. Undeterred, she scrambled to her feet and began sprinting, her determined gaze fixed on the trio.
Nyxara smirked, her predatory instincts kicking in. “Big mistake,” she murmured as her gaze locked onto Solari. She activated Paralyzing Stare, her eyes glowing with an eerie, hypnotic light. Solari froze mid-stride, her body stiff and unyielding as if shackled by invisible chains.
“Now, let’s see how you fare against true darkness,” Nyxara said coldly.
Zareth raised a hand, commanding the creatures from his Abyssal Conjuration to turn their attention to the immobilized Captain Solari. The monstrous beings snarled and surged toward her, their claws gleaming with malevolent energy. Solari’s eyes widened, but her body remained frozen.
As the creatures closed in, Zareth, Neraxis, and Nyxara continued on their path, their laughter echoing behind them. The sounds of ripping metal and guttural growls filled the air as the creatures reached Solari.10Please respect copyright.PENANAYoSZLnOkim
The Eclipse Sovereignty finally reached the grand chamber where Kaelus was imprisoned. A massive, rune-covered door of Aetherstron stood as an impenetrable barrier, its surface glowing faintly with ancient energy.
Two figures stood in front of the door: Kaelan Drayke and Windrider Sera. Both were armed and poised for battle, their expressions unyielding. The air around them crackled with latent power.
Nyxara’s lips curled into a sneer as recognition dawned. “You two again,” she said, her voice dripping with contempt.
Kaelan leaned casually against the door, his sword resting over his shoulder. “Long time no see,” he replied, his tone mocking. “I almost missed you.”
Nyxara’s gaze hardened. “How about you step aside, or do you want a repeat of last time?”
Windrider Sera’s eyes narrowed. “Don’t be so sure you’ll get the same outcome,” she said, spinning her wind-blades in a menacing arc.
Nyxara tilted her head mockingly. “Missing two of your little group, are you? Where are they? Off licking their wounds?”
Windrider Sera smirked, unshaken. “Your only concern should be the defeat you’re about to receive.”
As soon as Sera finished speaking, two massive demons materialized beside her and Kaelan, their hulking forms bristling with infernal energy. They moved with chilling purpose, stabbing both guardians with glowing pitchforks. Runes ignited on Kaelan’s and Windrider's chests, their forms stiffening as the demonic seals took hold.
Nyxara chuckled darkly. “So predictable.”
The narrator explained: Zareth’s Infernal Pact allows him to summon ancient demonic entities and bind them to his will. These demons wield immense power, capable of manipulating reality and warping space. In exchange, they demand sacrifices of souls or energy, which strengthen them further.
Kaelan and Sera glared defiantly as their bodies began to dissolve into smoke. Their last defiant expressions faded along with their forms, leaving only silence behind.
With no further resistance, the trio of the Eclipse Sovereignty turned their attention to the chamber. Zareth placed a hand on the Aetherstron door, his void energy crackling. “Finally,” he murmured, a twisted grin spreading across his face. “Kaelus awaits.”10Please respect copyright.PENANA5bUEX0zjXr
