"Lydia, earlier you used healing magic to Jared, right?"
"Yes, my magic were specifically in healing magic "
*thinking* "I know that Marquis Tourmaline territory were dominating the healers on this Empire. But I didn't expect that you were a healers too"
*sulk* "That's too mean, my Lord. I was once treated you on the Academy in the past. I guess you've forgot about it."
*startled* "Huh? Really?"
"Yes! That time you were fainted in the class..."

Verduny at the age of 13 years old
At that time, Verduny were very busy. He must preparing his ceremony of coming up aged or his debutant in society, preparing his graduating exam on Junior High, take care of the Dukedom and there are still missions from the Emperor. So Verduny collapse from fatigues.
The ceremony of coming up age should be prepared by the parents. But because Verduny didn't have parents and closest relatives, he prepared his ceremony of coming up age by himself.
Actually Verduny didn't study much for the exam. It's because he often absents and didn't attend class regularly to carry out missions from the Emperor, the Instructors and teachers gave him a lot of assignments to make up for his vacancies in the classroom.
His engagement to Lydia was announced by the Emperor suddenly on his debutant. Verduny didn't even approve of the engagement, but he couldn't help it anymore because the Emperor had made it public.
In the hallway of Royal Academy
Verduny collapse in the middle of class and become a ruckus in the whole Academy.
*noisy* "Please give way, give way" *noisy*
The instructor and a few students carried Verduny to infirmary. Lydia look the crowd from afar with her friends.
"What's going on?" *Lydia curious*
"Ah, they said that Duke Verduny was fainted in his class"
Everyone shocked
"What? How could it be? Will he be fine?"
"I don't know, but aren't the healer on the infirmary absent today?"
"Huh? How could you know?"
"I went there earlier for something. But there was no one in the infirmary. So I though that the healer was absent today."
"How about my handsome Duke's fatigues? Who will treat him?"
"Huh? Your handsome Duke? Were you dreaming?"
"Rather than the Duke, the Second Prince's smile were more charming"
"No! Senior Edward was the most charming among them"
"Come to think of it, the three of them always staying together"
"The Duke was a cold-blooded charming prince. His cold nature with his charming fake smile could frost our heart and stole it"
"And his aide, Senior Edward was like a prince in fairy tale. He was a thief who stole our hearts with his friendliness"
"His Highness Second Prince was the most perfect charming prince. His smile was like an angel that could melt our hearts"
"Yes, yes, yes. All of them were really handsome"
*suddenly* "ALL OF THE STUDENTS COME BACK TO THEIR OWN CLASS NOW OR ACCEPT THE PUNISHMENT! CLASS WILL BE STARTED IMMEDIATELY!"
Everyone shocked and running to their own class, except Lydia. She sneak away to the infirmary.
In the Infirmary
Lydia hesitantly approaching the infirmary.
*knock knock knock*
She knocked the door but there are no answer. Then she slowly open the door. She look around the infirmary, there were no one in there beside Verduny that lying down in the bed. She slowly approaching Verduny. Verduny handsome face look really pales as if he will die anytime soon. Lydia cast healing magic on him. After awhile, Verduny complexion are gradually getting better.
*STEP STEP STEP STEP*
There are noisy footstep outside, Lydia panic and quickly get out from the infirmary.
*BRAK!*
The door was smashed really hard and get broken, there were even a crack on the wall. Verduny that sleeping earlier in the infirmary was shocked and wake up.
*panic and worried* "MY LORD!" *shout out loud of panic*
*dash*
Rushing to Verduny bed.
*grab Verduny* "My Lord! Are you alright?" *inspecting Verduny*
*annoyed* "Edward, you were interrupting my nap" *irritated*
*burst out of mad* "My Lord! I heard that you were collapsed in your class earlier. Don't pretend to rest here! You can't trick me! I told you to get some rest everyday, but you never listen to me! No matter how busy you are, you should get some rest! Just because you were genius, you think that you don't need any rest?! You're human! Human need to rest! My Lord, are you even listening to me right now?! You fainted because you didn't sleep for a few days already! If I'm not there, you didn't eat your meals properly! What if..."
Edward continue nagging for awhile.
Come back to the present time
*giggles* "My Lord, at that time I'm still near the infirmary. Therefore I could heard everything very clearly." *giggles*
*limp* "That was one of my embarrassing past. I though there were no one in there and because I was still too weak, I couldn't stop him and almost gone deaf. He stop nagging when the prince come to visit me."
*giggles* "My Lord, there were only few people near the infirmary at that time including me. But you know, Edward was shouting out loud at that time. Almost everyone at school heard him. I heard that after that incident, Edward became the most respected person in the Academy."
*shocked* "What? Almost everyone at school heard him?"
*giggles* "True, the infirmary was in the middle of the Academy, remember?" *giggles*
*hopeless* "That's true. That must be why the bad rumors about him were almost non-existent after that day." *irritated*
*eager* "Of course. He dared to nagged at the most feared person, Duke Amethyst himself. And the Duke even listen to his nagged until the very end. The teacher and instructors were really amazed at him"
*surrender* "So that's why no one stopping him even though he has been so noisy at that time"
Lydia continue giggling
*realize something* "My Lord, I heard that the Emperor knew about that incident too" *anxious*
*indifferently* "Yeah. He summon me right after he heard that incident. He was really pissing me off. I almost cut off his 10 years of his lifetime. But fortunately Duke Tanzanite were there and stopped the Emperor before I lost control of myself." *bickering*
*realize* "Aren't that mean Duke Tanzanite already knew about that thing?"
*indifferent* "He know but he didn't report me and confront me instead"
Flashback
The day when Verduny get summon after collapsed in his class.
Outside the Emperor audience room
"Duke Amethyst"
Verduny turn around
"Is there anything you need, Your Excellency?"
"Just called me Duke Tanzanite. I'll just be blunt to you now, did you just want to put a curse on His Majesty earlier?" *dark aura*
Verduny quiet for awhile
"Yes" *blunt*
*astonished* "You didn't panic and even answer it bluntly" *chuckles*
"That's the truth and I almost lost control earlier. Therefore you must notice the curse from that time. I don't have any excuses to cover it again." *indifferently*
*chuckles* "You're really an interesting person. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Just be more careful next time" *smile*
Verduny shocked. Duke Tanzanite come back in to the room.
Come back to the Current time
Lydia shocked
"Is he also have some problems or grudges with the Emperor too?" *uneasy*
"I don't know. He never disturb me, so I never disturb him either. The prince also trust him, so maybe it'll be fine. Just looking at the Emperor personality, he must be pressuring the Duke too. The Duke was amazing person after all."
"How amazing he is?" *curious*
"When the Duke was still a prince, he was the one that winning a few territory in the west thorough war, he was a diligent person and better than the current Emperor. He was the one that can only advising and convincing the current Emperor if the Emperor made any reckless decision. I even once thought by him about strategy on the battlefield." *quiet for awhile* "Seriously, he's more befitting to be the Emperor instead of the current Emperor." *irritated*
"If what my Lord said true, he was truly more suitable became the Emperor than the current Emperor" *pondering*
*annoyed* "If only he was the Emperor, I won't suffering from any troublesome missions. But if Duke Tanzanite became the Emperor, our prince won't be the current crown prince. That stiff person will be the crown prince instead" *snickering*
The carriage stop. The horseman come down and knock the carriage door.
*knock knock knock*
*sound from outside* "Your Excellency, we have arrived in the Capital City"
Lydia and Verduny smile at each other. Verduny open the door and come down from the carriage first. Then he help Lydia come down from the carriage.
"Wait me at the usual place." *look at the horseman*
"Yes, Your Excellency"
