On the way back
Edward chooses to pass through the forest for their way back
*curious* "Sir, why do we pass through the forest? Why not take the path of when we departed last time?"
"Not much reasons. It's faster to get through the forest rather than through city after cities. And I have observed any city near here and I find nothing special in there."
"Then I'll follow you quietly"
They continue their journey
*halt* "It's almost noon. Anthony find some monster for our lunch, I'll wait here" *sit down*
"Yes, Sir"
Anthony leave Edward alone. After a few moments, Anthony come back with a huge boar in his hand.
*shocked* "..." *speechless*
There's a lots of monster corps near Edward meanwhile Edward are in deep sleep.
"Sir Edward, please wake up"
*yawn* "Anthony, what made you so long? I fell asleep waiting for you."
"Sir, please look at our surrounding"
Edward look at surrounding, there's a lots of monster corps in there
"Are you the one that killed all of these monsters here? You seem to have a high ability." *look at Anthony*
*shake his head* "No, Sir. Weren't you the one that killed all the monsters here?"
*smirk* "You're really a honest person, nevermind that. Let's start make our foods"
*confused* "Yes, Sir"
Edward set a fire and grill the boar then they eat together.
The next day
Edward and Anthony arrived in Hunted Forest almost at noon. Edward cancel the incognito spell on him and Anthony. Then he head to Verduny tent directly.
In Venduny's tent
Verduny busy working in his tent as usual.
*kneeling* "Renfred Opal reporting"
Renfred suddenly kneeling in front of Verduny
*writing* "You're back. Then Edward will arrived soon. Tell me your report" *writing*

*writing* "Are they have any purpose? Or are they already know this mission?" *writing*
"Their goals were doing slave trade and robbery that targeting a rich merchants. It's probably to increase the first prince wealth for him finding more supporter to go against the Second Prince"
*writing* "How are they now?" *writing*
"I weakened the bandits from inside then attract a few famous powerful group adventures to attack their base. Therefore I have annihilate them secretly as your instructed."
*smirk* *writing* "Good, continue your report!" *writing*
"I find a few spies from first prince that following Sir Edward. I have killed all of them and throw their corpses to a high rank monsters. With this there will be no clue from their death."

"On the day of arrival in the Scapolite Capital City, there's an inspection before goes in. Although Sir Edward pass the inspection without a trach, there were other people that overheard Sir Edward conversation with the guard and they began to follow Sir Edward secretly. And I have killed all of them"
*writing* "You took care all of them without a cover? They'll get suspicious" *writing*
*frown* "Yes, I got attacked several times in there" *hesitantly*
*stop writing* *mad* "What?! An assassin got a surprised attacked? What a joke!" *look at Renfred with a scary aura*
Renfred was hiding his presence when following Edward. That's why it's surprising if he's being attacked.

Verduny stare at Renfred for quiet a bit.
*sigh* "Aren't you lucky to met Albern at that time? But you must still be punished for your mistakes. Get 15 cores of devilish high level monsters in 3 days. Can you do it?" *look at Renfred*
Renfred hesitant to answer
Normally to hunt 1 devilish high level monster need 3 magicians and 5 warriors. Verduny want 15 of them in 3 days. Of course it's nothing for him. But, even if Renfred a high level assassins, it's still difficult for him. Killing a person was more easy for him than killing a monster. It's no doubt a harsh punishment for him.
*glare at Renfred* "What? Can't even afford this much?" *irritated*

*smirk* "He was just fooling around. It seem I need to increase his works" *snickering* "Anything else?" *look at Renfred*
"Sir Edward choose to go through the forest rather than the path when he departed to go back"
"Through forest? Aren't that dangerous? How about the monster?" *a bit worried*
"Sir Edward took care of them in the blink of an eyes."

Renfred bow to Verduny and vanish. Then Verduny continue his works. After awhile

Anthony leaved the tent and walking around there.

I though that he assume us as a high rank nobles, there were no nobles that escorting a commoners. He's a smart person, but we still can predict what's in his mind" *snickering*

Verduny looked at Edward with a cunning smile and Edward smile back to Verduny. After awhile, Verduny smirking and continue his works. Edward approaching Verduny and help Verduny.
"Of course, but where is Vincent?" *looking around*
*writing* "He was taking care of a few troublesome vassal in the manor" *writing*
*irritated* "That annoying vassals. Even though we have remove the previous vassals, this new vassals were nothing different from the previous ones. It should be my Lord who met them. But my Lord never wants to met them." *grumbles while inspect and sorting the documents*
*stop writing* *glance at Edward* "You know already, I can't stand to see their hypocritical faces. If I saw them, there are an urges to destroy them all." *dark aura nd menacing*
*look at Verduny* *smirk* "That's true, there were almost none of them that come back safely after meeting my Lord" *chuckles*
Verduny turn around and glare at Edward. Edward smile at Verduny. Verduny sighing and continue his works.
*inspect the documents* "My Lord, this report state that the commoner in our Dukedom cannot afford to buy a single rice and wheats due to the high price of them on the market" *serious*
*irritated* *writing* "Those bastard, they want my people starving to dies. When is the goods from Scapolite will come?" *writing*
"They'll prepare our order in two days. It's expect to come in 5 days from now"
*writing* "But with our Company as intermediary, it'll come a day after it's ready" *writing*
"Then they'll arrived in three days from now. How do you want to distribute it, my Lord?"
*stop writing* "We can't distribute it bluntly. Firstly spread a rumor that we have difficulty and desperately find foods. Then announce that 'Amethyst Dukedom will exchange their magic item for a large scale of foods'. Secondly open a few store inside the Dukedom for our people to buy their food with a reasonable prices." *smile sinister*
Edward start to write on his note
*smirk* "Are you really going to exchange our prides with foods, my Lord?"
Verduny treat his magic item as Amethyst Dukedom and his own prides.
