In the Bedroom
In the blink of eyes, Verduny arrived in the room. He come in the room without a sound.
"When will my Lord come?" *anxious*
Verduny smiling and cast soundproof magic then hug Lydia from behind. Lydia shocked.
*shocked* "My Lord?"
*kiss*
Verduny kissed Lydia for a long time
*whisper* "Did you wait me for too long? Sorry to made you wait."
*kiss*
Verduny continue kissing Lydia. The two of them slowly walking to the bed and have a nice night!
In the Study Room
Suddenly there were someone in the room. Edward and Vincent shocked and be on their guard.
"Albern?!"
Edward recognized the person and lower his guard. Then he cast soundproof spell.
"Vincent, it's fine. This are Albern, one of our Lord people too."
Vincent lower his guard and look at Albern thoroughly
*salute* "Greeting for both of you! My apologies to surprised you earlier, I'm the leader of the Assassin team under the Lord order, Albern Serpentine. Nice to meet you."
Vincent shocked. He didn't know that Verduny have assassin team under him.
*salute* "Greeting, Sir Albern. I'm Vincent Jasper, the Lord second aide. Nice to meet you too."
"Just call me Albern"
"Then you should call me Vincent"
*quiet for awhile* "Alright, Vincent, Edward, where is the Lord? I rush here because I can't find him in the Hunted Forest, Renfred and Nigel can't be find too"
"Our Lord currently resting with the Madam. About Renfred, I think our Lord gave him a task and will be back tomorrow. But I don't know anything about Nigel."
Edward answering Albern
"He could have a task like Renfred too, don't worry. More importantly you are late, Albern."
Vincent add arguments and continue sorting the documents.
"My apologies for the long wait. I think it's because the order are too larger and sudden that they need more time to prepare the goods."
Albern take out a high level storage ring that full of wheats and rice. Edward save the storage ring on his storage ring.
"The second order of the goods will be ready next week."
Vincent take a note on that.
"How about the payment?"
Vincent ask Albern
"I have paid the payment right after the goods arrived at our stall as our Lord requested."
Vincent continue writing, then remember something.
*realize* "Edward, about that bandit..."
Vincent glance at Edward. Edward look at Vincent and nodding. Then Edward show Albern a few documents.
"Albern, look at this documents"
Albern take the documents and read it thoroughly. Edward started explaining the situations. Vincent continue his work in his desk. After awhile, Edward finished explaining the situation to Albern.
"Do you have a hunch about the mastermind of those bandits?"
Edward ask Albern
*pondering* "Perhaps it's the first prince."
Vincent and Edward shocked. Vincent stop his works.
"How could you come to that conclusion?"
Edward curious and suspicious
"Renfred find out that one of the famous bandit have the first prince backing. At first, I was quiet surprised myself. And there were possibility that these bandit have the first prince backing them too" *pondering*
Edward and Vincent astonished and looking at each other.
"Whatever the reasons, since the Lord want me to crush them out then I should comply his requests" *determinant*
Albern prepared to leave
"WAIT!"
Albern stopped and look at Edward
"Anything else, Edward?" *confused*
"Follow me!"
Edward glance at Vincent and leave the room. Albern confused but still following Edward. Meanwhile Vincent continue shorting the documents.
In The Workshop
Edward arrived in the workshop
*knock knock knock*
Edward wait for awhile then someone open the door.
*haggard* "Edward? Why are you here again?"
Jared open the door with a haggard look.
*cold sweats* "Jared? Are you okay?" *worried*
*smile faintly* "I'm fine"
*sigh* "Don't overwork yourself, you just regaining your consciousness"
*appear* "Did you fainted Jared?"
Albern appear behind Edward. Jared shocked and his heart almost stop beating.
*irritated* "Yes and I almost collapse again from a shock because of you!" *glare at Albern*
"Really?" *indifferently*
*annoyed* "Anyway, why the two of you here? The workshop are still in mess, I can't let you in yet." *irritated*
Edward take a peek in the workshop, there were various sounds and flashes of light from magic spell coming from inside the workshop. Unexpectedly, all the Research team were work overtime together.
*come to his sense* "Did one of the three remaining device have finished? I want to give it to Albern before he leave."
Edward ask Jared
"Yes, it finished just now. I'll bring it in a second."
*SWOOSH*
Jared come in the workshop then come out again in the blink of eyes.
*show the device* "This are the device"
Jared show the device. Edward look at Albern.
"Albern take the device."
Edward told Albern to take the device. Albern still confused and take the device.
*confused* "What is it?" *inspect the device*
"It's a medium level magic item called the communication device. We can call a person thorough the device. But it only can be used by it's owner though."
Jared explain it but Albern still confused.
"Albern, drop your blood on the device."
Edward said it to Albern. Albern understand Jared meaning and drop his blood on the device. The device glowing with dark green color.
"You just need to wield the device to make a call and if your device glowing suddenly it means someone is calling you and you only have to hold the device to receive the call."
Jared continue explaining.
"That's all I need, if you want to continue talking with Jared, I'll leave you alone. I still have some works leave."
Edward intending to leave
*shocked* "No! I still have my deadline! I can't have any talk with you yet."
Jared irritated
*snap* "You two, don't think that only the two of you that have work to do. I've my own work too."
Albern annoyed
"Then, please help yourself and excuse me"
The three of them said it together while bowing to each other. Edward head back to Study Room, Albern vanish and Jared come in the workshop.
The next day
Verduny wake up and take a bath. Lydia wake up and heard someone from the bathroom. After awhile Verduny come out from the bathroom. Verduny realize Lydia just awake.
"Morning, Lydia. Let's wake up and have breakfast together."
Approaching Lydia and kiss Lydia forehead.
*smile* "Morning, my Lord. I want to take a bath too but I can't wake up"
Verduny smiling and help Lydia to wake up then escorted her to the bathroom.
"Can you do it alone?"
"Yes" *smile*
Verduny leave Lydia alone in the bathroom and started changed his clothes. After awhile
"Lydia, I'll come out first. I'll wait in the dinner room"
*sound from the bathroom* "I'll head there right away, my Lord"
After hearing Lydia, Verduny leave the room. The maids come in the room right after Verduny leave the room.
On the way to Study Room
Verduny head to Study Room, he meet Sebastian and Edward on the way there.
*salute* "Good morning, my Lord!"
Sebastian and Edward said it together. Verduny looking around.
"Where is Vincent?"
"My Lord, did you forget? Today was his first day on his class" *smile*
Verduny remember it
"How about Albern? Any news from him?"
"Albern come here last night. I have received the goods and still make the necessary preparation."
"Good. Sebastian, look for available store in each district in our territory. At least one store in each district. Find a trustworthy peoples to take care of each stores. The stores will be open simultaneously as soon as Vincent started his work."
"Yes, my Lord."
Sebastian bow to Verduny.
"Edward, you'll be busy make letters for the nobles, merchants and the companies. Just stay here until you finished them then come to me with the letters and today reports. I'll head back to Hunted Forest alone. Give me yesterday reports."
"Yes, my Lord"
Edward give Verduny a storage ring. Verduny take it and save it to his storage ring.
"Any news from the prince?"
"There are still no news from him, my Lord."
Sebastian report to Verduny.
"My Lord, I think the prince will talk to you himself after the ceremony"
Edward add argument
"That's a probability, but that time are not suitable for serious talk. Anyway, I'll have breakfast with Lydia."
"Yes, my Lord"
Sebastian and Edward said it together. Verduny head to Dinning room.
In the Dinning Room
Veduny was the first person that arrived there, he was relieved and sit on the seat.
"Servant, bring me some tea"
"Yes, my Lord"
The servant salute, make a tea then serve it to Verduny. Verduny drink the tea. After awhile, Lydia come to the dinning room.
*salute* "My apologies to made you wait, my Lord"
*smile* "It's alright, Lydia. Just sit down"
Lydia smile and sit down on the seat. Then Sebastian come in with a few servants to bring the breakfast. They serve the breakfast then leave. Verduny and Lydia smile at each other and start eat the meals.
After awhile, Verduny and Lydia finished their breakfast.
*wipe his mouth* "Lydia, I'll come back to the forest to continue the training. I'll come back again at the day of the prince wedding."
Lydia quiet for awhile
"Then I should continue help my Lord with the works."
Lydia said it
*stunned* "Actually, you don't need to do that anymore. I've new aide now. You should just attend a tea party or something then show off your new jewelries like other ladies does" *stroke Lydia head*
*look at Verduny with disbelieved* "But I don't like to show off my stuff" *frown*
*smile* "Then you could just have fun in there or find new friend" *chuckles* *continue talking* "I can't lock you in here can I? I was too busy and had no time to attend any banquets. If you are also not active in society, I'm afraid more bad rumors will arrive targeting our Dukedom." *smile*
Lydia look at Verduny. Verduny not budging and keep smiling.
*sigh* "Alright, I'll do as you wish"
*smile* "Thank you"
