This is Amethyst Dukedom, my work place and my second home. And that person are Verduny Amethyst, the Duke of Amethyst Dukedom. He has a tittle Rising Moon and The Number One Geniuses in the Empire after the Second Prince who's The Number Two Geniuses in the Empire. He's amazing at works but failed to take care of himself. He's my childhood friend and my superior at work. He have been acting weird since earlier.
*The night of drinking
He want to drink wine? It's not like him. What's happened? If I remember correctly, he just sit and work in his room like usual. Nothing special or weird happened lately or is he gone crazy already? He never drink when his work isn't finished. Even if his work are done, usually he'll sleep or overslept in his desk.
In the past when we're still just a bestfriend, I help him restore his territory. One day in the morning I need to get his approval about something and I casually come in to his room like usual.
*When Vendury 8 years old
*open the door and walk in* "My Lord, there's a few documents and proposal about the market that need your approval, so let's sign in here and... " *speechless*
*peaceful* "Zzz... zzz... zzz..."
He fell a sleep at his desk in sitting position.
*approaching* "Sir? Sir Edward?" *calling*

*relieved* "Is there something wrong, Sir? Why are you standing in front of the door?" *smile*
I was shocked and speechless looking at Vendury and didn't aware someone has called me. It's just... how can a person sleeping with that position? How can he fell a sleep in sitting position? He tell me to get some rest, while he's staying for work overnight? He's crazy!
*hesitant* "Ah, it's nothing Sebastian, it's just... Look right there, is he usually like that?" *point his finger on Verduny*
*Sebastian look at Verduny*
*sight* "... It can't be helped, if only I can do something to help him. I just don't want him to be so restless, I want to avoid this situation too but I don't have the power. I hope my Lord get a proper rest, but his work won't let him be. The Lord even forgotten his meals and don't have a proper rest for awhile" *depressed* *halt* "... This's all because of that heartless people, they just push all the work to the Lord carelessly. They made the little Lord do this and that nonstop, but some of that people shamelessly getting in the way of the Lord and resulting the Lord load work increase." *irritated*

I don't know his condition thoroughly, he's an excellent person who can finish his works faster than expect. Then I thought, this much of work are nothing for him. But I was wrong, he just an unfortunate brat who can't get some rest because of works. How stupid am I?
*awake* "Hmn? Edward? Sebastian? Why are you just standing in there? Just come in already." *starting to work again*
*worry* "My Lord, would you like to get some more rest in the room? My Lord, please don't make yourself restless" *suggest*
*glance* "You don't need to worry about me Sebastian, I can take care of myself, thank you. I'll go to bed after finished this one, you can take your leave first." *continue working*
*uneasy* "... Alright, my Lord. But please get some more rest and call me anytime if you need anything. Please excuse me, my Lord, Sir Edward." *salute and leaving*
*stuttering* "Ah... yes, yes" *looking Sebastian leaving* "My Lord, is there a reason why you can't take a rest even if only for awhile?"
*glance* "..." *ponder* "My people... they're beg at me with kneeling and crying..." *paused for a moment* "... And the Emperor also wishing to demolish the Dukedom..."
I was shocked once again. Then he look at me with a smirk and continue talking
*smirk and pondering* "You know, they're a weak and useless noble who could only hide like a coward behind a brat such as myself. They look at me as their hope in the outside and make me as their leader but in reality, I just their pawn to maintain the Dukedom. I want to ignore them, but they send people to beg at me. Their pride won't let them beg by themselves. But, I wont let them be just like that. I'll suppress them and even remove them without hesitation if they dare to defy me" *menacing*
I don't know his real situation are like that. I need to stay by his side. If he always overworked continuously, he'll die without anyone knowing.

*confident* "If I become your aide, I promise you to never let you die from overwork. I'll maintain your schedule and time so you'll have time to rest and I'll make sure to make you have three meals a day." *smile with confident*
*halt* "What? Are you a nanny or something? And what's with this becoming my aide all of sudden? Did you hit your head? Are you gone crazy already? Don't be impulsive and don't forget you're..." *before finishing his sentence, he feel something prickling*
*smile creepily* "My Lord..." *menacing*
*cold sweat* "Ye... yes?"
*murderous aura* "I am sure you will die if you work alone. Do you believe me? Or do you wanna have a try, my Lord?" *menacing with creepy smile*
*cold sweat* "But..."
*meddling* "Hmm? Are you saying something, my Lord? My Apologies, I can't hear you properly. Would you like to said it again, my Lord?" *menacing*
*astonished* "Edward... Let's calm down for a bit. This's a bit too sudden, let me think about it carefully..." *calmly*
*confused* "Is there a need to think about it? Isn't it nice, that someone like me becoming your aide? We are friends after all, right? What are you worry about? Whatever it's, it can be solved later. Aren't you the best person in this Empire? Let's worry about yourself first, my Lord. Or are you looking down at me, because I didn't as brilliant as yourself? *come in abruptly* "Please pardon me, my Lord, I don't know my class would finish longer than usual. I'll... " *halt*

His condition are worsen day by day. I still can't get used by his weird habit of sleeping.

Well, drinking once in awhile are fine. But it's weird, he never ask about the Lady. So I eventually forgot about her, I even forgot that my Lord already married because he usually ignores her. He have been ignoring her since they're engaged. In the past, my Lord get engaged with the Lady because of the Emperor's order, so maybe he don't like her. Why the sudden change? Did he have a weird dreams or something? It's fine thought, it's not good to ignores your wifey for along time.
But it's still worrying me to dead. He's the stupid Verduny after all. He's someone who'll get sleep everywhere with any condition and position. He even forgotten his meals, but it's all in the past. Thanks to me, he never forgot his meals again. I want to increase his rest time too, but he's so stubborn and determinant won't get any sleep before finished his work. He won't even take a break. I can't help but worry about him. I hope there won't be any bad omen coming.
