When she returned to the aisle where her mother was, she froze with panic. Sophia walked down the aisle, inspecting the shoppers. None of them were her mother. She ran back to the other aisle and came back, but her mother was still not in the aisle. Sophia ran across the ends of the aisles looking for her mother, but to no avail.
Tears formed in her eyes when she got to the last aisle and couldn't find her mother. Just then, a hand rubbed her head. It was her mother.
"Mommy!" She cried.
"What did I tell you?"
