Did not forget, there was an accident that knocked out a pole. It took too long to get things back up, so I went to bed early. You'd think, having lived long enough to see the seasons change, that people would drive carefully this time of year.

Ah, the day before Christmas. The worst and best day. Tensions are excessively high, last-minute shopping, chaos in the shops and on the roads. Everyone's got their lights and decorations up except that one person who's putting them up today, only to realise nothing is working. YAY!
