We've refined and upgraded many awesome features over the weekend to give you guys an even better Penana experience!
Left-hand side navigation bar: In addition to "Stories", we have now added "Contests" and "Writers" to the navigation bar to improve the browsing and searching experience. Therefore, be sure to check out some "New Stories", "New Updates", and "Active Contests" to look at the works and ideas from our talented writers and newcomers!
Story Contests and Writing Challenges: We have implemented a new writing contest system on Penana. Users will now be able to create a writing contest or challenge with a specific theme and set the submission deadline for the challenge. This is an excellent feature for writers to market their ideas and gather other writers' thoughts.
We think participating in writing challenges is also a good way to spark imagination and maintain a consistent creativity flow. As writers, being consistent and persistent are keys! They are what Penana aims to help every writer achieve! We are greatly inspired by many aspiring writers on Penana who update regularly and even target to write a certain number of words every week or month to keep up a writing rhythm. They are just like marathon runners who keep a steady track record and are determined to never walk in a race!
Lastly, below are some writing challenges that will end in ONE week. Join as a challenger or cast your "Likes" now if you haven't already done so! Penana will think of some awards to give out the winners in the long term as the community grow!
