Have you ever thought of partnering with someone to write a fiction? Collaborative writing has always been a popular topic discussed among writers. Some say it can greatly increase the quality of writing while some say that it could be difficult at times to resolve the conflict of ideas among writers.
Penana is experimenting a new perspective of collaborative writing. We are encouraging users to form a Writing Crew up to 5 people to work on a story. Your crew can be a mix of Co-writers or Idea Contributors. (Note: Idea Contributors can be your close friends, favorite commentators, and beta readers etc. They know you the best and would provide the most direct and constructive feedback to validate your thoughts and expression in your writing.) This concept mainly aims to give credit to people who contributed to the story and group them together.
Steps to form your Writing Crew and Collaborate:
(1) Create a story with Collaboration Mode.

(3) Collaboration roles and limitations:
1. Co-writers can initiate a draft, but Idea Contributors cannot.
2. A Co-writer can only edit his own draft, but not the drafts of other Co-writers.
3. Idea Contributors and Co-writers can review the drafts of all the Co-writers and engage in the "Private Draft Discussion" under each draft (as shown in the image below) before a story is released.
Go ahead and invite your Idea Contributors and Co-writers today and tell them to join your story! Form an effective and long-lasting writing crew!
If you ideal co-writer is not on Penana yet, you can invite them here:
