We were asked by several users since our inception what "Penana" actually means and how we come about this name.
So here is the explanation :)
1. Penana (pronounced as "Pen-na-na") is a catchy word where people of all ages can remember easily.
2. The smooth shape of our logo symbolizes the flow of thought and creativity of writers.
3. The bottom part of our logo is made up of 2 pen tips. If you take a closer look, you will find a fountain pen tip and a pencil tip aligned with each other, representing writers' unity.
4. Brown and Yellow color logo - we want people to think of Penana whenever they eat or see a banana - a simple and common occurrence in our daily life. Banana is a nutritious and healthy fruit. We want to remind people that writing is a healthy activity that enriches our well-being and encourage everyone to develop the habit of writing boldly and creatively.
Lastly, we are a group of young and enthusiastic individuals who are trying to the best of our abilities to promote the culture of web fiction and storytelling and build a wonderful community. We hope you all can join us on this remarkable journey!
