2014 has been a most thrilling and fulfilling adventure for Penana, certainly because of the support from writers and readers like you. For instance, we successfully proceeded from closed beta testing to open beta testing in September and we have now gathered over 730 aspiring writers and readers with 800+ stories created and 40+ writing contests produced. Penana's mission is to Create a Storyworld - a virtual world where everyone can leave their small marks and convey messages in the form of stories, ideas, and quotes. Whether you are writing a solo or collaborative story, hosting or participating in a writing contest, or just reading some fictions and poetries users posted on here, you are part of our mission. 1. Our story homepage has a new and fresh look. You can now choose to view stories and publications in 3 flexible views - Book View, Grid View, and List View.
2. It's now easier to find stories that you love! You can explore stories by genre, sub-genre, and search with keywords of the story intro/summary, i.e. Issue #0.
We hope you will like our present and continue to provide feedback to improve Penana! Be sure to look out for the exciting updates coming from us in 2015!
