As the dawn breaks, Temmy finds Vincent perched on the edge of the bed, a look of concern etched on his face. She silently approaches him from behind, wrapping her arms around him in a comforting embrace.
“Good morning, sleepyhead,” she murmurs affectionately into his ear.
“Good morning, my sweet angel,” he responds, his voice laced with happiness.
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, Temmy proposes, “I have an idea that might lift your spirits.”
Intrigued, Vincent inquires, “Oh? And what might that be?”
“You get to pick our lunch spot!” Temmy declares, her excitement palpable.
Delighted, Vincent exclaims, “Really? That’s fantastic! I know just the place!”
Soon, they find themselves at their chosen destination - a quaint café named “La Familia”. A waiter, clad in a crisp black suit, greets them warmly, “Welcome to La Familia, may I show you to your table?”
“Certainly,” Vincent replies, accepting the offered menu. “Could we also have something to drink, please?”
“Of course,” Temmy adds, her manners impeccable.
As they await their beverages, they observe the near-empty restaurant, save for three occupied tables near the window. One table hosts two suited men, while a woman, who bears a vague familiarity to Temmy, occupies another.
Upon the waiter’s return with their orders, he removes the menus. As they begin to savor their meal, a waitress brings an additional chair to their table.
“May I join you, gentlemen?” she asks, her smile warm and inviting.
Surprised, yet welcoming, Vincent responds, “Hi, yes, please do. I’m Vincent, and this is Temmy.”
The waitress offers an elegant bow, “Pleased to make your acquaintance, Mr. Vincent, Ms. Temmy. I’m Maria.”
“Maria, it’s a pleasure to meet you,” Temmy reciprocates, offering a slight bow in return.
After exchanging pleasantries, they resume their conversation. Once lunch concludes, they decide to stroll around town, basking in the pleasant weather.
As they amble towards a park on the opposite side of the road, Temmy notices Vincent’s distracted demeanor, his gaze flitting towards her every few seconds. Eventually, he breaks the silence.
“Hey, Tommy?”
“Hmm?” Tommy responds, not turning around.
“I think we should remain friends for now,” Vincent suggests, his tone serious.
“Friends, huh? What if I want more than that?” Tommy retorts, her voice tinged with disappointment.
“I understand, but I can’t give you what you want right now,” Vincent replies apologetically.
“Why not?” Tommy probes, suspicion creeping into her voice.
“Because…” Vincent hesitates. “I care for you deeply, Temmy. But I can’t let myself fall for you because I fear I’ll end up hurting you. You deserve better than me. Besides, we’re both young and inexperienced when it comes to relationships.”
“I understand,” Temmy reassures him. “I don’t expect anything from you, Vincent.”
“Thank you, I appreciate that,” Vincent expresses, relief evident in his voice. “Now, let’s head home and spend some time together.”
After spending half the day meandering through the city, they arrive at their apartment building. As they make their way towards the elevator in the lobby, Vincent halts abruptly.
“Wait, I want to show you something,” Vincent says, a note of excitement in his voice.
He strides across the room to a corner, pulling open a drawer filled with old magazines and newspapers. Inside, several large, leather-bound books catch the eye.
“This is my personal library. These tomes are rare and valuable,” Vincent states proudly.
“Wow, that’s amazing,” Temmy responds, clearly impressed.
As they continue perusing the shelves, a book titled ‘The Book of Lost Souls’ immediately captures Vincent’s attention. He retrieves it from the shelf, flipping it open to a random page.
"‘In ancient times, there lived a powerful wizard named Azazel."
Suddenly, the elevator doors slide open, revealing Uno standing before them, his expression grim and serious.
“What’s wrong?” Vincent inquires, concern coloring his voice.
“It’s been a day since you left the base, and I haven’t heard any news yet,” Uno explains, his tone grave. “I tried calling you yesterday, but your phone was switched off. Are you okay?”
“Sorry about that, I was out for a few hours. What happened?” Vincent asks, confusion evident in his voice.
“I’m sorry to tell you this, but we started stage 2 without you,” Uno reveals, his voice tinged with sadness. “We’ve already finished training our recruits, and now we’re ready to move onto phase 3. It’s not ideal for us to split up, but we don’t have many options.”
“What’s happening now?” Vincent asks, his concern growing.
“The warzone across the world will be affected now either by passing from a child, other infected or the advertisement, we estimate within 10 days, the military system off every single country will either be collapsed or overthrow the government. Maybe some chaos will induce, during that time, stage 3 will be active and approximately everyone is concluded,” Uno states bluntly.
“Are you sure this is safe?” Tommy asks, uncertainty creeping into her voice.
“We believe so,” Uno assures her confidently. "There’s no reason to doubt this anymore, we are all committed to this project, including me.
“And we are going public today, I’m here to ask you to record the premier videos we’re going to share globally within 2 days, the reason being I got information from due that someone is trying to impersonate as the perpetrator, it’s likely a group of people that try to cause chaos, and we need to spread awareness worldwide. We can’t afford to miss this opportunity.”
“Okay, I’ll see what I can do,” Vincent agrees, albeit reluctantly. “But I still want to talk to you later tonight.”
“Ok, I’ll call you then, bye,” Uno bids them goodbye and exits the floor.
“Come on, let’s get out of here,” Vincent urges, his tone hurried.
Tommy nods in agreement.
Once they step out of the building, they head towards a nearby park. In the distance, they notice a crowd gathered in the middle of a street. Curiosity piqued, they pause to observe the commotion. Suddenly, a tall man with dark skin steps forward from the crowd, raising his hands.
“People of Earth! This is the final warning! Your leaders have failed you and brought humanity to its knees! Now it is up to us, ordinary citizens to save ourselves! Join me! Fight back against the alien invasion and take back control of our lives!” he bellows, his voice echoing through the street.
The crowd erupts into cheers, rushing towards the man.
“Whoa, who’s that guy?” Tommy asks, puzzled.
“He must be part of a political movement,” Vincent dismisses indifferently. “Let’s keep moving, we’ve seen enough.”
Soon, they reach the park and settle under a tree to relax. For a few minutes, they sit in comfortable silence, enjoying each other’s company. Then, Vincent suddenly springs up.
“Hey, come look at this!” he calls out urgently.
Temmy follows him to the lake shore where he stands, his gaze fixed on something floating in the water. As Temmy draws closer, she realizes what it is: a human body, gruesomely mutilated and disfigured.
“Is that… Is that…” Temmy stammers, horror creeping into her voice.
“Yeah, it is,” Vincent confirms solemnly. “Look closely, there are blood stains all over his clothes.”
Temmy kneels beside him to examine the body more closely.
“The corpse is covered in red text stating: ‘This man is a local child predator. His name is Finn Black and he has been raping children in the area for years, as well as escaping the justice system. Now it is payback time!’” Vincent reads aloud from one of the signs attached to the corpse.
“That sick bastard deserves it,” Temmy says coldly.
“I know this guy, thank God he’s gone now,” Vincent admits, relief washing over him.
“You know him?” Temmy asks, surprised by Vincent’s revelation.
“I’ll spare you the details. Long story short, I only met him a few times. I had to break his leg to cast him off for good,” Vincent explains.
Just then, a police car arrives, its lights flashing. Three policemen step out of the vehicle and approach the scene cautiously.
“Halt!” one policeman commands. “State your names and business!”
Vincent steps forward, his demeanor nervous.
“My name is Vincent and this is my friend Temmy. We were just exploring the lake and stumbled upon this gruesome sight!” he explains calmly.
One officer examines the corpse carefully.
“Well, I guess you’re telling the truth. Let’s clean this place up before anyone else finds out about it. Do you mind if we search your bag?” the cop asks, suspicion evident in his voice.
“Sure thing,” Vincent responds obediently.
Two cops quickly check inside his backpack. They find a small knife and a notebook filled with various notes and sketches.
“Here you go,” one policeman says, handing the items back to Vincent. “I hope you won’t file charges, I’d like to avoid having to deal with paperwork.”
“Thanks, Officer,” Vincent thanks him gratefully.137Please respect copyright.PENANASLPj4rxnbm
Meanwhile, the other officers finish searching the bodies scattered throughout the woods. Soon, they leave without saying a word.
"So what did you draw in that notebook?" Tommy asks curiously.
"Nothing special, mostly stuff related to monsters and magic." Vincent shrugs. "Look at this."
He opens the notebook to reveal drawings of strange creatures and magical spells. Some of the pictures had written next to them, others didn't. There was also an image of the monster from the previous dream.
"Where did you get those ideas from?" Tommy wonders.
"From my dreams," Vincent explains. "Sometimes, I dream weird things that I scribble down in the notebook. And sometimes I remember the details of the dream while awake. That's how I came up with the idea of creating monsters using magic."
"Interesting," Temmy observes.
Then, the two hear footsteps approaching from behind them. Turning around, they realize that Uno is returning to the park.
"Uno, hi." Vincent greets him casually. "How was everything going? Did you manage to contact the rest of the team successfully?"
"Yes, I called them and told them to prepare themselves. By tomorrow night, we will release the video to the media worldwide. Everything should start falling into place soon." Uno replies happily.
"Great!" Vincent exclaims eagerly.

The next morning, Vincent woke up feeling anxious. He couldn't seem to shake off the sensation that he felt last night.
