Episode 6 Continued - Murder on the Agenda
"Master, I've been calling you for lunch," I said as I entered Yumi's study.
I immediately froze, glancing around to find papers scattered about the floor, ripped and torn as if someone tried to rid of master's evidence... and her desk was a mess, as well... and it had blood on it.
I then glanced up to find the windows wide open, blowing wind gently into the room and the curtains waving with it.
I sighed then, setting her lunch down as I gazed up. "Master's been kidnapped. How unfortunate."
I then looked around lazily, stepping over to a piece of ripped paper. "And it looks like those thugs took her. Seriously... this is like what... the third time in two years? How does she manage this? It's like her talent."
I then stood, brushing off my pants. "It was Master Ciel's virtuous talent, as well."
"Sebastiaaaaaaaaan!" I heard someone say, and I turned to find Maddox dashing in the room.
He put his hands on his knees, gasping as if he ran a mile.
"What is it now?" I said in annoyance, turning toward him. "Did you burn down the kitchen again? I'm afraid I cannot be of assistance. I have a problem that needs tending to."
"I didn't burn down the kitchen!" he said this time, glaring at me more out of annoyance for himself. "I just... burnt master's cake."
I just stepped to the door. "Of course, you did. Never fail to disappoint, do you, Maddox?"
"I'm sorry, Sebastian... cooking's not really my talent."
"Then why did you beg to be chef?" I said then but shook my head. "Never mind, I guess the others did the same."
He then stood fully. "So? What's this 'problem' you need attending to?"
I glanced at him. "Have you not seen the room?"
He glanced around before it hit him. "Master's been kidnapped?"
I nodded.
"Again?" he said.
I nodded, once more.
"Jesus..." he said then, scratching the back of his head, "I hope she's alright."
"I'll find her," I said then, stepping over to the corner of the room and picked up a broom. I tossed it to him, and he caught it. "You, however, will clean up this mess."
I then picked up master's lunch.
"But... wait, hey! Sebast—"
"Goodbye," I said as I exited the room, holding her lunch in one hand.
I then continued down the hall, clicking open my pocket watch as I glanced down at it. "It's already three? My... how time has flown."
I kept walking as I slipped my watch back into my jacket, staring forward as the plates rattled on my tray.
"Ugh... does it have to be so bright?" I said then, lashes lowering. "Why must the mansion be covered entirely in windows?"
But I suddenly stopped walking, and I glanced to the right window.
A figure stiffened while he sat in the tree, but I watched his finger click on the trigger.
But I suddenly threw the tray of food up, bending backwards like I was doing the limbo, and I gazed up to find a bullet whizzing past inches above my face.
It lightly cut the tips of my hair before it sliced into the wall on my other side.
I stood up then, holding out my hand as the tray landed onto it, followed by the plate and master's sandwich.
"That was risky," I said then, sighing. "Master's poor sandwich."
I then continued walking, holding the tray in my hand. "I shall put it in the fridge for safe keeping."
I finally made it to the kitchen, and I set the food in the fridge before I stood up.
The moment I felt an odd presence creeping toward me, I just closed the fridge and threw my fist up, smacking the figure right in the face without looking.
He then collapsed behind me, clearly dead with how hard I hit him.
His face probably caved in.
I just sighed and stepped over his body. "Master's poor lunch, you must really want it, don't you? You ought to be careful. It's her favorite sandwich and no one's allowed to touch it."
I then stepped out from the room and closed the door behind me.
I suddenly threw my hand up, feeling a bullet slice the air as it came toward me, but I closed my fingers together, and it caught in between my thumb and index finger as if I froze time and grasped it.
I then glanced to the right, glaring at a man who stood on the other side of the wall.
His eyes were widened in horror, and the gun he held shook profusely. "How the hell did you do that?" he questioned.
I just smiled. "I think this belongs to you."
I then turned at an instant and shot the bullet at him, and right as I landed back on my feet, it sliced into his forehead.
He fell backward and collapsed with the ground, deceased.
"These humans and their intense need for guns and bullets, I swear." I dusted off my hands by patting them together. "Catching all these bullets is going to rip my gloves, and that would be unfortunate, indeed."
I turned to the other side of the hall. "Scarlet? Cammie?"
They all walked out from one of the guest bedrooms. "Yes, Sebastian?" they said together.
Another form came at me from behind, and I just shot my hand out and caught his face, still facing them as he struggled at my grip.
"Master's been taken, and the manor seems to be under attack." I then squeezed his face, hearing him scream as his bones cracked and echoed through the room, and I dropped him. "While I go retrieve our lord, would you mind defending the manor?"
Scarlet just smiled dangerously, slipping a blade from her ankle as her eyes lost all reflection. "At once, Sebastian."
Cammie had the same look, twirling a small stick of dynamite between her fingers. "This is why you hired us, isn't it?"
Indeed, it is.
I then smiled.
Phantomhive servants were chosen specifically to protect the manor rather than clean it. They all were given normal servant jobs to twist the minds of the bad, but in reality, they all had a specific talent of killing.
Scarlet: a dangerous assassin who uses every sharp blade to her advantage.
Cammie: a war veteran who's obsessed with bombs and explosions.
Maddox: a retired assassin who has expert aim when shooting guns and cannons.
And Carter: a MIA service veteran that knew everything about killing with poisonous gases.
They all had their talents at killing, so that's why they were hired.
I then smiled and nodded to them. "I shall go retrieve our master. All of you, destroy all hundred of these men."
Their smiles sharpened. "Yes, Sebastian."
I then leaned down to the most recent deceased body and slipped out his phone. "I hope you don't mind if I steal this. I promise I'll destroy it when you're done so you won't be caught."
I then smiled. "Even though you're already dead."
I stepped down the hall, opening my pocket watch once more to check the time.
"A quarter till four," I sighed and slipped it back in, "master won't be thrilled knowing I took my time. She must be very hungry without her lunch."
After stepping down the halls, I popped my lips when I caught a hold of the phone. "Oh, yes, I must scare them first."
I then glanced to the right, where a guy stood, aiming the gun to me.
I just smiled. "You'll do plenty."
