Suddenly, everything happens so fast. I feel pain, a moment before everything bursts into flames. I see an arrow come towards Elena and I don't think. I just throw myself in front of her, as I yell, "Elena!" I feel the arrow when pain comes. Afterward, I pick her gently up in my arms with vampire strength and walk out of the house towards my house.
