I touched the circle of zodiac symbols and felt an immense force of magic power rush through my veins, I knocked on the floor and a knock sounded back. I fell backwards and then noticed the ball of light again hovering above my jacket pocket.
I pulled out the paper and looked at it before glancing at the zodiac symbols and then the paper before knowing exactly what to do. I stood up and walked into the middle of the circle and looked straight in front of me.
“Oh gods and goddesses of thee, hear my plead” my hair started rising slightly as it turned blonde and lengthened again, five circles surrounded my hair like chains as the 12 symbols of the zodiac hovered perfectly above each circle. My feet left the ground slightly as I raised my arms above my head.
“Darkness”
“Pain”
“Control”
“Takeover”
“Heir to the throne”
The circle below me started to glow brightly as I signed the five symbols above my head and let my hands rest in the shape of a heart. A flash above my head and a crown of thorns and jewels and pearls sat on my forehead the heart dangling between my eyebrows like the incident in the bathroom.
“I plead for thee, show me to the sea!” I shouted.
The room burst into light and everything went fuzzy.
I groaned and pushed myself up off the ground before looking around.
My eyes widened at the sight of where I was, the room was huge with high ceilings that had crystal chandeliers in five different colors, each color representing the five deadly embodiments.
I stood and patted off my dress before realizing I was back to my normal form, “I’m back...” I whispered.
I looked around again in awe and shock.
I was standing in the middle of a huge pentagram surrounded by the twelve zodiac. Five thrones were perched around the circle one bigger then the others as it glowed faintly, I turned in a circle slowly taking in the scene.
The room was held up by multiple beautifully sculpted Corinthian columns that had an ombré affect of pink to blue.
I looked at the bigger throne again just as the voice said “sit my darling”
I stumbled backwards, tripping over a step and then falling and knocking off a vase. My eyes widened as I tried to catch it but fell onto a button instead, the sound of broken glass followed by the sound of bombs shot through the air causing my ears to ring.
I screamed and ran to the middle of the pentagram just as the outer area of the room collapsed and sent splintering wood and glass flying through the air. I heard something crack above me just before a portal opened above me and someone fell through.
I fell backwards as the person collapsed on me, I covered my ears and cried just as the person looked at me and I recognized them as Jake.
His eyes widened before he held me tightly against his chest and formed a sturdy ice ball around us, it was tight and extremely embarrassing as I straddled his hips and blushed.
He ignored it as he watched the room around us collapse, I placed my hand on his cheek and directed his attention to me “Jake...” I whispered. He looked at me and his eyes widened before he pulled me into a kiss, I tensed up but relaxed and complied.
Jake’s p.o.v.
I pulled away from the kiss as I gasped for breath and Akemi smiled at me before she turned human again and collapsed in my arms, “SHIT! HEARTLESS WAKE UP!!”
