Sasusaku fanatics are fucking laughable!
Before I begin this, keep this in mind that the entire war-arc may be spread over two-hundred chapters, but it actually takes places over the course of a little over two days in canon (about two and a half days); so if Sasuke was apathetic to Sakura hundred chapters earlier in any scene in the war-arc, it doesn’t mean that he was that way to her months ago. No, that happened a few hours ago, at best.
I’ve seen this scan being posted so many times as some sort of proof that “Sasuke romantically cared about Sakura all along!”, and it’s about time I said something on this topic:
Haha, what?! All right, let’s clear one thing up: Sasuke was on Naruto’s left (or the panel’s left) when they were all about to fall down into the lava:
See above? Naruto is on Sasuke’s right (on the panel) and Sasuke is on Naruto’s left. When Sasuke summoned the hawk, where would he logically move to if he wants to catch Naruto? That’s right! He’d move to his right as the Hawk, Garuda, doesn’t exactly come with Ferrari’s gears to reserve it in mid-air:
See? Naruto’s on Sasuke’s right (on the panel); so Sasuke moves to his right, grabs Naruto, and flies away. What does it have anything to do with Sasuke “making sure that Kakashi and Sakura are safe” logic? He doesn’t even give them a passing second glance when Kakashi’s scroll starts to burn:
Then we have these panels SS fans conveniently choose to omit:
Do you see Sasuke anywhere on the panel? He doesn’t show a lick of concern. You could argue that Naruto was saving them, but according to SS fans, doesn’t he love Sakura with every fiber of his being dick that he’d be … concerned that she’s about to be burned to a lump of coal in the lava? No, Naruto saves them in the last two parts of the panel, but Sasuke doesn’t even look at them in those parts, either:
See the top image? Sasuke’s been looking forward this whole time. He doesn’t care. Heck, he cares far more about his hawk as he was making a Susanoo to cover his own front and that of Garuda’s when Kaguya struck them with Senbons: it’s called Iso Susanoo (Magical Garb Susanoo), a function of Susanoo that Sasuke and Madara used to cover Kurama:

This jutsu is 9-tailed fox (kuuybi no yoko), sheathed(armored) in clad “Susano'o” armor. Gallantly using weapons that “Susano'o” carry in its front paws(hands),just like the fangs of the predator…!! It also combines the absolute defense and attack power of the “Susano'o” and 9-tails, this jutsu allows the user perfectly utilize different abilities of both (9-tails and Susano'o).
Why didn’t he use his Susanoo hand to make a grab at Kakashi and Sakura? What was stopping him? Haha, hilarious. He could’ve just used Perfect Susanoo (PS) here and flown away. A little lava would’ve done jack to PS when Sasuke’s lowest most Susanoo form, Ribcage (it wasn’t even a proper Ribcage during Kage Summit as that one’s deep grey in tone), took on Mei’s Yōton attack point-blank, twice, and wasn’t affected. Heck, the only reason her Futton attack started to melt Sasuke’s Susanoo is that he was starting to get low on chakra. I mean, we’ve seen that Sasuke’s so skilled that he can manifest just an arm to grab hold of things, without the manifestation of Susanoo:
Then when Sasuke’s grabbed, he states, “huh?”
That means that Sasuke had no clue that Naruto was floating while he’d reached out to grab Sakura and Kakashi. Did you see Sasuke even look at them at any point during this incident, let alone turn toward them? No.
And are we forgetting about this scan?

See? Sasuke’s scoffing at Naruto’s simple-mindedness ’cause he doesn’t know that Naruto had distributed his chakra before, too; so he obviously has little clue as to what Naruto’s doing. Heck, he doesn’t know what Naruto did even after they all got teleported outside the barrier:

Sasuke’s a brilliant boy, so he automatically recalls what Minato had told them earlier. Sasuke’s reservations are valid: he was never here when Naruto transferred his chakra to others; and in his eyes, Naruto’s plan is very foolish as his chakra won’t shield anyone from four TBBs of all the things; so let me get this straight: Sasuke didn’t know Naruto had any solid plan to teleport everyone out of the barrier? He knew Obito had trapped everyone inside and was about to blow them all up with four Jubi TBBs? He knew Sakura was inside the barrier, too? So knowing all this, he still decided to only take Naruto and Jugo with himself outside the barrier via Reverse Summoning?
