Sakura’s fast?! No, not really.
I think people need a little trip down memory lane. Many use this scan a lot to make a point:

Sakura’s strength isn’t her speed but you’re comparing her to lighting chakra types over and over again. And “Kakashi isn’t that fast?” Yeah you lost all credibility with that one. Canonically Kakashi is one of the fastest ninja in the village. This is the man who invented the chidori, literally known as the fastest jutsu in existence. Also in Kakashi Retsuden he’s fast enough to block lighting shuriken that were supposedly unblockable without his sharingan. Tsunade tells her a medic needs to stay safe, literally her biggest job is to not die, she can’t just be jumping in first thing before she gets her seal. Also with team dynamics everyone is looking out for her too because she’s the freaking medic which is why she gets saved often. She’s not the fastest, no, but she’s sure as hell fast enough to evade and even block attacks from a mangekyo sharingan user, and even catch him off guard with a few blows, like we see in Naruto Gaiden.
Lastly, since I’m a physicist I need to add this, mass x Acceleration= Force. In Sasuke’s case, for example since he’s the fastest ninja in existence, he has a small mass but he can accelerate himself to speeds great enough to get enough force to go blow for blow with an Ootsutsuki. Change the formula a little bit and you get force/mass=acceleration. You have Sakura who can use a great amount of force in her chakra fueled blows, who has a small mass, who therefore can accelerate at great speeds when needed. I would attribute these cases to her needing to have immense control over her chakra at all times, so that’s where her concentration is, especially.
What does being a Raiton chakra-type have anything to do with speed? Bar Ae and his father (who augment their speed with Raiton, even though Ae’s as fast as Minato without it), it adds nothing to the shinobi’s speed.
No, Kakashi isn’t that fast. Few clear examples would be the following: he couldn’t counter Zabuza properly and jumped into the water (against a Shinobi from Mist at that; how genius!) and had to be rescued by Genins; he couldn’t blitz Kabuto who isn’t fast, either (save at the end of Shippuden, after he’s learned the DSM); in shippuden, he could barely keep up with Hidan who’s the slowest member of the Akatsuki while he was simultaneously dodging Shikamaru’s Shadows, and Kakuzu overwhelmed him and nearly killed him twice (God bless Shikamaru’s plan magically working and Naruto showing up in the nick of time … just because); he couldn’t evade Kakuzu’s wind attack, and as a result, his Jonin jacket was shredded; he was overwhelmed by a 30% clone of Itachi (whose entire performance, including speed, was locked at 30%) despite being backed by three other people; his performance against a slow-as-snails recovering Deva was abysmal; he couldn’t even bring an utterly exhausted Sasuke (who wasn’t fully healed from his grave wound which Danzo gave him and fights that involved Kages and their guards) to his knees despite having an element of surprise on his side both times; in war, he was helped by Nara and Yamanaka clan members to take down the swordsmen (Haku stepped in again and blind-sided him); Obito defeated him repeatedly, even though he was helped by Gated Gai, KCM/BM Naruto, and Kurama upping his chakra and Jutsus several times; etc. I can go on, but Kakashi was never some kind of a speed demon at any point in the manga. Kakashi being fast is completely Fanon.

Also, I don’t understand: what does “her job is not to die!” have anything to do with my argument that Sakura fans use that scan to show that she’s fast? The whole post’s dedicated to debunking that, not what her job is.
What are you talking about?? Kakashi planned jumping into the water during his fight with Zabuza, and he was following Shikamaru’s plan with Hidan too, it was never his job to kill Hidan, Shikamaru wanted to do that. The other scenes you mentioned he was drained from wither being under genjutsu or from overusing his sharingan, and he never wanted to kill Sasuke or Obito, he wasn’t fighting with that intent. When he learns chidori he says to Minato that it’s like his flying thunder god jutsu and proceeds to kill 20 clones in just a few seconds. What fannon??

Sakura IS fast. No, not the fastest on team 7, but faster than average. “Her job is not to die” meaning you’re giving examples where other people are “saving” her as proof of her being slow when it’s literally just because she’s the medic and that priority will always be on their minds, and her job isn’t to run in headfirst. She was fast enough to catch Sai off guard, fast enough to punch out Kaguya before she could teleport, fast enough to go head to head with a freaking mangekyo sharingan user, fast enough to kill Sasori, even if she had Chiyo’s help in the beginning, and even fast enough to right hook Madara. You can find as many out of place scans as you want and it doesn’t change that.
No, he got kicked into water as he couldn’t evade and realized that it was a tactical error on his part to stay there that long. He thought of the plan to go underwater after he got his ass handed to him:
Had he been fast enough to evade, he would never have landed in the water in the first place. His “I’d go underwater and re-group!” was a back-up plan. Why would he leave his Genins behind and jump into water for no good reason? So going by your logic, Kakashi was so incredibly stupid that he decided to leave the builder and his Genins behind to be killed by Zabuza while he thought of a plan underwater? That makes no sense.
Yes, and then he came across the actual Jonin who was using the clones (by the way, Clones are much weaker than the original body) and this happened:
Had Minato not saved him, he’d have been killed. Oh, yes, and he got his eye poked out, too. And Shikamaru’s absurd plan? You do know that Shikamaru and his band of morons didn’t know a thing about Kakuzu’s abilities save that he uses threads, right? So what sort of plan was Kakashi following when he himself deduced Kakuzu’s abilities after Kakuzu kicked the living day-lights out of him?
And, yes, about that “awesome!” plan Kakashi was following:

What? Kakashi was upgraded by Kurama several times in the war:
That was the very reason why he was able to over-use his Sharingan in the first place. Kurama even upgraded his Kamui ability. What the heck are you even talking about?
He didn’t have the intent to kill? Huh? Kakashi punching an exhausted Sasuke and not even landing a decent enough hit to catch him off-guard doesn’t have anything to do with “intent to kill!” It shows that he has poor speed. Same with Obito who ran circles around him throughout the course of the war despite dear ol’ Kakashi getting Kurama’s chakra’s upgrades left, right, and center.
Where did I say that Sakura isn’t faster than average? Fast enough to punch Kaguya? She … only fell down. You know, gravity? It’s natural. Was she running in the air? Sai was … fighting with her? I didn’t know that. Care to pull out a scan because all I remember is that Sai actually reacted to Omoi and Karui while Sakura got her ass kicked. Sasori killed himself.
Out of place scans? I love this! All right, show me one “proper” scan and change my mind when everything you’ve said so far has been made up.

Read that formula again and stop hiding behind peak capitalist feminism that allows you to pull out the cartoon victim-hood card in an ordinary discussion that’s got nothing to do with men.
