Can you people stop reblogging content from this thumb-up-the-bum gibbon?
I get it that many Sasuke fans, like myself, don’t like SS, but for fuck’s sake, at least, look at the person’s blog first before being trigger-happy with the like and re-blog options (I’ve made these mistakes in the past, too, but I’m cautious about it now, so you should be, too). She runs a damn Sasuke-hate-blog. One of her posts outright makes fun of Sasuke fans who reblog her anti-SS posts that they’re “dumb” enough to reblog the content that’s tearing Sasuke down. Do you fellows enjoy being called dim-witted? Well, go ahead, keep liking her content if you do.
What she’s written here might as well be Fan-Fiction. I wonder often these days: how hard is it to read this manga (it’s written with a middle-school going child’s reading-comprehension in mind); why’s this fandom filled with crazy illiterates? Sasuke lunged at Sakura at the hideout? Right!
Attempted to Chidori Sakura? Right! To digress here a bit, the Kage-Summit-choking incident of Sakura’s often equated with outright misogyny, but it isn’t even a complicated affair. Sasuke slipped into the Summit to tail Danzo (he’s got the best infiltration tactic, by the way, in the entire manga), and by that point, Leaf’s already a Terrorist State that discriminated, persecuted, and butchered his people, never you mind the orphan exploitation, slavery, mass-slaughter, cross-border terrorism, etc., it regularly engaged in. Not to this woman, no! Who cares, right? It’s “quality Uchiha penis aimed at middle-class vagina” what this fandom’s utterly devastated armchair feminists are interested in.
Why would Sasuke trust Sakura, a Leaf Shinobi, at this point in the manga? Shouldn’t that be common sense that he wouldn’t after all that’s been revealed to him? Danzo admitted the truth, too, so it’s no longer Obito’s manipulation that’s driving him. He’d treat every Leaf Shinobi like a foe. It’s only natural. Guys, I know this manga’s, like, mighty hard to read for you, but here’s a little secret: shhh, Sasuke isn’t reading the manga, you are! He doesn’t know what’s happening at Leaf. No, seriously, you guys, he totes doesn’t. Cool? Let’s go ahead. I’m just … feeding you little scraps of information and making sure that this “complex” stuff doesn’t shatter your mind!
After Sasuke’s position’s given away by White Zetsu on Obito’s orders, the Summit became a fight for survival. He survived by a hair’s breadth against Onoki, whom he wasn’t fighting (his performance against Ae, Gaara, their guards, and Mei was fantastic). After that life-and-death situation, a person wouldn’t be … aggressive? Angry? On edge? I’ve got a feeling that most people on Tumblr have very little idea about how life and death situations on the battlefield work as they live very privileged, isolated, and sheltered lives in First-World Countries. They don’t know about how genocide, violent resistance, and wars work. (This moron being the shining example, one of the many that litter the dumpster of this fandom.)
That’s the reason why people, when they pictures of children’s dead bodies from Gaza, project their own lives onto the victims. This happens in Western countries a lot. I wonder why? So after immediately killing Danzo, when Sasuke comes face to face with a Shinobi from Leaf, can you, with complete honesty, tell that he wouldn’t want to take that Shinobi out? Why shouldn’t he? Furthermore, Sasuke isn’t reading the manga. He just barely fled the Summit where Kages were out for his blood; and Kages rule Shadow Villages; so if the leadership is out for blood, their Shinobis wouldn’t be? What reason does Sasuke have to show Sakura mercy when she had come to kill him? He saw through her trick and attacked:
He’s already seen through her, but she’s so fucking over-confident in her abilities that she thinks that she can actually pull this off when the conversation not only started off on the wrong footing but also Sasuke’s told her that he’d destroy Leaf. If he’s planned to destroy Leaf, why would he trust you, Sakura? This was time to bail out as Sasuke was simply calling her to him to assess the situation that she isn’t with anyone. Pretty clever on Sasuke’s part, but not on Sakura’s (but she’s never been clever). She played right into his hands. Once she comes close enough, he strikes at her:
How is this not fair? Of course it is. Why wouldn’t it be? She’s a fucking Shinobi! Why’s it fair for Shadow Villages and its Shinobi to commit organized mass-murder, but it isn’t fair for the wronged to strike back? Fair’s fair. Even Stevens. Tit for Tat. Call it whatever you want. It’s perfectly fair for the suffering lobby to respond to their aggressors in the same vein. Sakura, like any other Leaf Shinobi, shouldn’t be shown any mercy. She came to kill him. Why shouldn’t she be put down in return? It’s perfectly fair, just, and ethical, given that Sakura stands by, supports, and backs a Fascist Village despite knowing about Orphan Exploitation (Sai), Slavery (Neji), and mass-murders (Nagato). I don’t see how such a character shouldn’t be put down. She’s a fascist herself, through and through. Heck, forget that, Sasuke’s got the right to save his own life!
After Kakashi outright tells Sasuke that Sakura came to kill him, why shouldn’t he return the favor when she’s standing right behind him with a kunai in hand?
Not to mention, Sasuke was extremely vulnerable at that point: he couldn’t see very well, and he was trying to stay alive against two opponents (Kakashi and Sakura). You don’t think that’d make a person aggressive? He senses her right behind him with a kunai in hand. What would any person’s reaction be? Kindness? A long monologue of long-lost love (which this reader obviously read this whole manga for)? A smile and an obligatory, “I don’t want to do this, Sakura, but I hate to!”? What? (Some of you can’t live without cheap Romantic tropes, can you? That existence must be agony to search tirelessly for little scraps of these tropes in a 700 plus chaptered manga that doesn’t value this genre much. How sad.)
(A little digression here, but Sasuke shows how incredibly clever, intuitive, and dexterous he is even in high-risk situations: he grabbed Sakura here by the throat ’cause he can barely see! He knows that there’s a chance that he can miss the target of the strike; so he grabs her throat to make sure that he doesn’t miss her throat! Man, Sasuke’s unusually brilliant in combat! This little battle, in which all Team-7 was humiliated by one 17-year-old boy, showed the vast difference between Sasuke’s prodigious mind and theirs!)
It makes no sense to me that why anyone would discard all that political context and cling onto her “women tears!” as some kind of supremely stupid appeal to sexism. Did he climb into her home, and she stole herself behind him and couldn’t kill him? No? I thought that’s what happened. My mistake, I suppose.
Really, why play the misogyny card? Why play the “he’s an asshole!” card at all? Why play any card at all? If you get upset by Sakura cleaning books in her home and you get upset by this, too, then what do you want from the manga? You want every character to show her special treatment? Why? And why’s Sasuke a misogynist? Let’s see the other long list of misogynists that wronged Sakura!
Kin Tsuchi from Team Dosu: she grabbed Sakura’s hair and made her cry (take out your tissue-papers, please, because it’s wrong to keep the rule of Forest of Death in mind where it was perfectly legal to kill other contestants).
Zaku Abumi from Team Dosu: he punched the living shit out of Sakura when she bit him. What a fucking misogynist, treating a female contestant like any other contestant. How horrible!
Zaku Abumi, the Leader of Team Dosu: he called her stupid, berated her, and tried to kill her:
I love this panel: Sakura’s quite smug and acting like Dosu has no idea about her real trap when he does. He’s outright making fun of her with the last “Noooo!” dialogue. How? Well, he follows it up with this:
See the “very funny!” part? He follows that up with more insults. Sakura’s lucky that Lee showed up here; otherwise, she’d have been dead meat. Oh, did you notice the “women tears!” in the bottom-left part? Dosu made her cry, too! Basically, Kin, Zaku, and Dosu kicked, punched, and berated Sakura. They also made her shed “women tears!”. It’s a team of remorseless misogynists, isn’t it? God, I’m very smart! Proceeds to write down a fifty-thousand words dissertation on the collective misogyny exhibited by the characters against poor ol’ Sakura! “She doesn’t belong in the kitchen! She doesn’t, you hear me?! She deserves to bloom into a flower, ’cause I wanted to be a flower! You’re all out to end women-kind! My vagina is not your cave to raid! You racists, misogynists, crazies!” Seethes in rage!
Oh, no, we’re not done yet! This Random guy attacked Sakura and Sasuke, too; but, since, Sasuke always has it coming, his real target was Sakura all along! Why? Because the kunai is penis-shaped, you see. And as he thrust it at Sakura, he was imitating sex-movements. The the paper-bomb explosion spread out in a circular manner. Testicles! I know this, okay?!
A little digression, but Neji berated Ino and her team; but he’s not a misogynist ’cause Ino wasn’t wetting her vagina over him!
Then we have another great misogynist, Orochimaru. He used Death Intent against poor Sakura (who was totes defenseless), threw a kunai at her, and sent his giant penis-serpent after her, too, which arrived to her before he himself could. By God, Kishimoto is gross! You can’t fool us, little Asian man!
The snake is an ancient symbol of penis. Don’t you dare insult my intelligence! I’m a PHD in anime Anthropology! (You see, as Sasuke always has it coming, he doesn’t count.)
Who else is a bloody misogynist? Ah, yes, Sasori! He threw poisoned-senbons at her when she lunged at him:
Madara, of course! That black-rod is an obvious phallic symbol (they would’ve been so good in the manga! Wipes away the snot leaking into the bawling mouth!).
Do you see any similarity between these two scans above and these:
Why’s one unjust while the other’s fair? Then you people tell me that there isn’t projection at play here. You aren’t even subtle about it.
Who else? White Zetsu? He tried to trick Sakura, but Sakura tricked him back and punched him down:
Is this any different from this?
And how’s this different from this:
First, Itachi berated Kurenai, and then he didn’t even give her a little moment to breathe and proceeded to kick her into the water. Emotional abuse, am I right? It isn’t as if smack-talking is a thing! No, sir, ’cause if “women tears!” are involved, it’s always sexism. Is it misogynist that he’s calling a senior untalented, foolish, and rash? Is it misogyny that he’s kicking her around? And that’s not all, he, just like Sasuke, not only attacked Kakashi from behind but also Kurenai with the exploding Water Clone:
Itachi tricked both of them with decoys and then he attacked both of them from behind. If Sasuke’s an asshole, a misogynist, a crazed young man, so is Itachi! So is Zetsu. If Sasuke’s so and so for retaliating when Sakura came at him, so is Sasori, so is Madara, and so is Zetsu! There’s literally no difference between any of these manga scans. None! If you have the fucking nerve to single out people who call you out as misogynist, racist (oh, yes, I’ve been call racist for being critical about Sakura), and sexist pigs, then I’m well within my right to throw it right back at you.
Inuslts and berates her; lets her fall in the lava; and shows her a cruel Genjutsu? Right! It isn’t as if these happened before this:
(You dickwads should be thankful that Sasuke saved her life twice here when he didn’t need to, never mind the countless times he’d done it in Part I.)
It’s almost as if Sakura isn’t Sasuke’s responsibility. It’s almost as if she’s a Shinobi. It’s almost as if you want him to show her special consideration. It’s almost as if anyone would grow sick of her blatant antics to throw the world’s future in jeopardy over show-off, by this point. (Let’s not forget the many rejections that came from Sasuke before the last one.)
This vapid, witless, and pig-ignorant poster, like countless like her, is just banging-the-head-into-the-wall mad that Sasuke slapped Sakura back when she didn’t want him to. No, she wanted all these encounters to go like her favorite Romance-Novels, to which she weeps herself to completion. It’s almost as if this chick has a hard time processing and separating herself from middle-school text. (She’s got bigger problems than trying to make sense of a manga character.) It’s almost as if it’s self-projection onto Sakura and the anger that springs from Sasuke rejecting her manga-avatar. I get it, it must be fun to read the manga with a fist up your vagina, but some of us are normal.
Tell you what, guys, stop reblogging her posts and do the following:
You’re polluting my dash with her painfully stupid bullshit! Do it, for fuck’s sake! (Her head’s stuck too far up Sakura’s rectum; it’s too late for her now! She’s long gone and her mother helps her in locating her bum. Bail out, my fellow Sasuke fans, bail out!)
